Recently these forums have been extremely slow and inefficient. Once the ads show up, the entire site lags and it's very difficult for me to type anything. It never did this until now and I don't seem to have problems on other websites. It comes in waves. Sometimes I can type normally without any lag, and other types it straight up stops and I have to click on the reply box to continue typing.
Any help? Or anyone else having the same issues?

 i've been having the same problem when whitelisting the site, and i understand that the ads are helpful towards the site, but i've got an extension on chrome called ghostery which lets you block specific trackers. I've only got DoubleClick blocked, and that seems to help a lot. |

Oddly enough, it's been slow for me too. I haven't had time to try anything to fix it (like Adblock), but Pete's suggestions may work out.

Same here. Though its not really typing lag. Just lag in general. And I've been getting ads that play sound too.

I found the problem. It's when the bottom 2 ads are videos. That's what makes it lag so bad. It's happening as I type this reply. :/
