We've known this for awhile now, actually, and did Kate say that Blossomfall was already pregnant? Either way, knowing this series, she's bound to have his kits soon. Hopefully we'll get a bit more development in the series for their relationship instead of just a few interactions here and there.

Where was this confirmed? She still listed as a warrior in the Wikia... Kate said on her blog that according to the allegiances she has for The Darkest Night, Blossomfall becomes Thornclaw's mate. I can't remember if there was anything about them having kits though, but I wouldn't be surprised if it happened in the book. Anyway, it was originally on the wiki, but it was taken down since the book hasn't been released yet. |

In my opinion, Thornclaw should be an elder or at least becoming an elder very soon. There are plenty of other toms they could have chosen that could have still worked (or she could have not had a mate, which I would have preferred. The Clan is already way too big)

I don't want Blossom to have Thorn's kits. Have them in a romantic relationship but in a sense that they're not planning on having kits, just enjoying each other a company for as long as Thornclaw is alive

I find it strange that Kate is essentially basing this off of that weird bit in TLH where Lionblaze assumed they were mates. It even said in the book that he was wrong. I know there's been a major timeskip, but it's still weird.

I honestly don't mind this pairing! Nope not at all. As long they are not really siblings *cough* Patchpelt and Willowpelt *cough* I don't mind any couple, and age gaps absolutely don't botter me as long the two are happy  Anyway im sure Kate confirmed that they are going to have kits. Im excited to see them if they're going to have kits. |

I'm still not on board with this pairing, if Thorn wasn't ready to join the Elder's, and he was younger, I'd be okay with it, but...that's not the case. This feels like some serious fan catering.

Personally what the Erins should've done is BlossomxMouse because the Clan needs new blood in the gene pool. Heck, maybe even FernxBlossom and IvyxMouse would've worked better. At least then Ivypool isn't becoming mates with her cousin then(Well, third cousin, but still).

Thornclaw is too old for her.
Blossom should have chosen someone her age. Or Erin's have ran out of ideas and decided for a young cat X old cat pairing?

OK Thornclaw is at least 45 years old in cat years. Blossomfall is about, 18 or 20. I think the age gap is huge, and I honest don't like this ship. Plus, these cats have never really shown any sign of affection.

You know.... I'm actually okay with this pairing. The age gap is a bit iffy, but the Erins have never been good at keeping ages constant- heck, half the Clan ought to be in the elders' den by now. (A bit of an exaggeration, but you know what I mean  ) I did think that that one interaction was kinda cute, even though they weren't mates at this point. I kinda Headcanon that they might have grown close and started supporting each other and all that jazz while the Clan was still pretty prejudiced against the former DF cats. Which, while only my Headcanon, could make sense. I guess it's all a matter of interpretation. Maybe I'll search up some passages when I have the books in hand. |

If they are canon,then I'm kinda creeped out. It's just that they have quite a large age gap to a creepy level, like couples like LeopardfootxPinestar. But maybe if it is canon, it'll be a cute, well-developed couple. Idk
