Graphic 1.
Things well done: -Shape of the banner is very good -White outline makes it stand out more
Constructive Criticism: (please don't take this personally; it's simply my opinion -Add a bit of texture to the image or add a glow to it -The white outline needs to be thicker and maybe fade out a bit
(I hope you don't mind me editing these c: Now notice the subtle change I made. I added a grid overlay. I believe that it added some more "personality" and diversity to this particular image. I myself don't do this very often, but it's a lifesaver when the image doesn't have text or anything like that.
Now regarding the image above. I added a white outline/glow to the edge of the image, making it stand out more and giving it dimension. I myself always add some type of glow or outline on my banners, just to make them stand out. Always try do that, as I think it 'll help you out quite a lot.

Graphic 2.
Things Well Done: -Color of text. It matches the background very well. -Choosing of fonts. The fonts match the image and mood very well.
Constructive Criticism: -I would recommend you add a glow/outline to the picture ( a dark color) -Maybe add a border to the banner (I'm thinking a simple line border) -Make the text stand out more by adding a glow or outline (preferably a dark color)Here I added a dark glow/outline using dark colors. It really helped the image stand out and look 3D.Next I added a simple white double lined border. It filled up the banner and add personality to it as well. If I need a filler (something that is added in to spice up a plain banner) I usually use a border. (only if the image is a basic shape ex. square, rectangle, heart) Lastly I added a slight glow to the text. It really looks like it's popping out and actually has dimension.
I hope you take these tips into account
I would like to see more of your work, so if you could please post a couple of more banners made by you c:

Hey, It just occurred to me that we can have our private classroom without spamming the graphics part of the forum with this thread. I just sent you a message; we can continue from there
