Some of you (probably very few of you) may have noticed I haven't been writing as much. I am going to take a break from writing until I get my inspiration back, which may be never. I'm sure I'll probably be on once in awhile to roleplay and chat. I just don't feel my writing is good enough anymore. I also feel like this community is distant from one another and it doesn't feel right. I miss writing for the old forums. The one where even if your stories were bad, people would comment and help make it better. So this is farewell for now

I'm sorry you feel this way, I understand why though, there's not the same since of unity as there once was. Also never give up writing, the only way to get better is to continue. And lastly, I wish you well.

Yeah :/ it's really sad that we aren't as close anymore. Less and less writers check out other's work and when they do, they don't comment

Never give up on writing, Bluey, because in a way, writing will never give up on you. I've had a hard time as well. It's only been recently that I've been seeing some improvement with the community. It's little, but it's there. With some nurturing, I have high hopes that this forum can be what we all wish it to be. But, I don't think it will ever be the same as it was. With changes comes new ways of doing things. We just have to adapt and work hard to bring us all together to become a community again.
I hope your writing soul will come back to you. I've had to wrestle with mine to keep it put. It's annoying really and beyond frustrating. If you ever need someone to talk to, just message me ok? You are still my friend, even if you never write again. (': (Which won't happen, because c'mon, writing is too much fun!)

Cause I know that even if it's not fun now it might benefit me or someone else someday. Now, I'm not trying to lecture, so you can take a break if you need one. cx |
