Camella raised her gaze from his hands, locking her caramel gaze with him. She bit her lip faintly, sighing as she debated how to phrase this. "What do you do if you really like someone, but you're not sure if they like you back?" she finally broke the silence, voice warbling slightly out of anxiety. She held his gaze, begging him to understand that she was really asking himto let herknow what he thought of her. She was just too shy to ask him upfront.

At about that same time, Lucas passed Althea on the sidewalk and entered the coffee shop from which she had just left. While he didn't need the coffee to survive, he did occasionally enjoy it. It was a strange thing he really couldn't explain. The male didn't think much of Althea's scent as he entered the building because he wanted to enjoy the day off from work. He stood in the line and adjusted his glasses as he waited for the people in front of him to order.

[ inky It can be multiple things, I was thinking an immortal with a mortal who tried to make the mortal live forever and be like them? If that doesn't make sense just ask lol ]
Althea forgot her phone inside of the shop, going back in and instantly smelling his scent. She walked up to the front, passing him and smiling to the cashier. She asked if there was a phone, retrieved it, and walked back, making eye contact with Lucas.

ɪɴᴛʀᴀɴꜱɪɢᴇɴᴛ Mason looked at her and smiled. "Well, talk to them and ask what they think of you. It might be hard, but do it in a note or song." [sorry it's short, end of the bell in school]

As Althea reentered the shop, Lucas let out a quiet sigh. He didn't want to be bothered on his day off, and it seemed that he wouldn't get what he wanted. He shot a glare at her as she made eye contact but didn't say anything. At the same time, he pushed a hand through his hair as he figured how long - by car - it would take to get from where he lived to the forest he had been in yesterday. If one followed the speed limits, he guessed it would take about two hours - half an hour to the city he found his meal in and an hour and a half to the town nearest the forest. So why the hell is she here? he asked himself.
Lucas decided that he wouldn't spend time in the coffee shop like he had originally planned. He didn't want Althea to learn anything about him, including his hobbies. Once he ordered and received his coffee, he shoved a few singles into the tip jar and walked outside to sit at one of the shop's outside tables. He still wanted to try enjoy himself despite Althea's presence, so he compromised. He would sit outside and enjoy the coffee but not open his backpack and pull out what he needed to try relax.

Lucas nodded once but didn't say anything because his body language said it all. He glared slightly at Althea, and he appeared to be tense instead of relaxed. He raised the cup of coffee to his mouth and took a sip of it, still glaring at the teenager. Of course he wanted to know why she was here in his town. She was making it really difficult for him to enjoy his day off. Despite the smile she gave him, he wasn't intimidated by her. Angry at her? Yes. Scared of her? No.

"This is my day off from work to relax," Lucas informed her as he set down the cup of coffee. "You'd be pretty mad too if the day you planned to have to yourself was ruined by the appearance of someone who lives in a town two hours away. And yes, I figured out what the hell you were. I'm not stupid. Which leads me to my next question. Why are you here?"

Lucas' glare turned into a rather displeased expression. "Please tell me that I'm not it," he said flatly. "Because I don't do love at all." His expression once again shifted as she mentioned apologizing. He raised an eyebrow, now confused, intrigued, and suspicious. "So what exactly are you apologizing for?" He questioned, leaning back in his chair as he became more comfortable.

"So what exactly are you apologizing for?" Lucas repeated firmly. "Okay, so I'm not your mate - thank God - but there's still gotta be a reason you came all the way out here."

Lucas nodded once, resisting the urge to roll his eyes and mumble "whatever" or something similar. He was ticked that she felt the need to go way out of her way to apologize to him. Had he been in her position, he wouldn't have apologized at all. "Is that all you had?" He asked before taking a sip of the coffee. "Because my idea of enjoying a day off doesn't include seeing someone I had an argument with the day prior."

"Who ever said that was my idea of a day off?" Lucas asked as he smirked a little. "And that's a bit of an exaggeration, anyway. Who ever said that all vampires do is leave bodies around?" The smirk never left his face. He pushed a hand through his hair before thinking about her other question. "Others in existence? Bell yeah. Others with me? Nah, though I may have to give my friends a call..."

Camella thought for a long moment, dropping her gaze asshe did. "That's a good idea, honestly. Thank you," she smiled, blinking as she peeked up at him shyly before nervously looking away, unsure of what to say now. Where could she hide the note where Mason would find it, but her parents wouldn't? And how would he know to read it? She sighed, leaning her head on her hand and swinging her lega back and forth idly, trying to spit ball.
[ oh no, you're fine! ]

"Because I can," Lucas said with a shrug, the smirk remaining on his face. "Maybe I want to see them. I haven't seen them in awhile." He rolled his eyes at the other comment before laughing a little. "And I would imagine that most wouldn't," he said seriously. "You see, there's this thing called law enforcement and they don't really like what we do, so we have to be careful."

inky I deleted the plot, oops. Do you still want to do it, just in the "make your own" section?
------------------------
Misty - Althea glared at him. "I don't like vampires, thanks to you." She said, annoyed. She drank the rest of her drink and stood. "Nice little conversation, hm? Now, I like this town. Mind showing me around?"
------------------------
ɪɴᴛʀᴀɴꜱɪɢᴇɴᴛ - "Glad I could help, Camella." Mason smiled, starting to clean up some things on the counter that moved during the day. He fixed the fridge, cleaning the stainless steel and looked at the time, 3:45. The owner would be home in an hour or so, so he had some free time. He smiled, sighing at the fact that this was his first free moment in a few years.

Lucas shrugged, not really caring that he was the reason she now hated vampires. Heck, he only said some of the things he did to mess with her, and it was working evidently. "Give me three good reasons why I should show you around the city I call home," he said, leaning back in his chair. "Because this is my day off, and I didn't plan on spending it acting like a tour guide."

Misty - Then I can put her in the town? ------------ Sherk - Katherine smiled brightly and started walking, looking behind her shoulder and replying,"Then follow me, sir." Kate had felt that she really knew who he looked like, but still couldn't figure it out. She got stopped by a costomer and he bought two small loaves. She smiled, putting the coins in her coinpouch hooked to her waistband. Johan followed, glancing around mildly as he did. He still didn't know much about this part of the city, but it was interesting. He surveyed the customer buying the bread, and when he left, Johan spoke: "is this the only thing you do?"

Camella jumped to her feet suddenly, forgetting completely about her coffee and darting from the kitchen in that way she had of running everywhere without actually running. She never seemed to walk, her short legs moving as quickly as her thoughts. She threw open the door to her room, scrambling over to the desk and plopping down, pulling out a piece of paper and beginning to scrawl a note for Mason.
Dear Mason, she began in her neat handwriting, then scratched that out. My dearest Mason, she began and then laughed, scratching that out as well with a shake of her head, sighing and then turning her gaze out the wide window, her attention falling on the wide oak that Mason often liked to sit under. She had often watched him peacefully reading in those brief moments of free time he had, falling in love with the way his chest rose and fell softly and the way his fingers turned the pages gently, eyes flickering back and forth, page after page. This was the perfect spot.
Okay Mason, here's the letter you told me to write. I really like you and I doubt you even really pay attention to me because you're like super busy all the time, but yeah. Cami she signed in neat cursive, a little heart in front of her name. She wasn't satisfied with it, but it would do. She folded it up, darting past Mason in the kitchen with a brief "Hi again," and outside. The sun was bright, the crisp autumn leaves crunching beneath her feet. Perfect.
She reached the tree and tucked it in a hollow knob, right about eye level for him (she had to stretch on her tippy toes for this. She glanced back to the kitchen, making eye contact with him and blushing, before turn and darting off towards the stables to check on her babies.
edit;; [ sorry that was kind of long, please do NOT feel obligated to try to write as much unless you really want to. i'm fine with giving/getting as much as you normally do c: ]
