"Or what?" He asked, wanting to know exactly what she would do to him. Lucas wasn't intimidated by her time or eye-color shift. If anything, the latter made him more curious on what she was. "And I wish you'd answer my questions, but we can't always get everything we want in life, hmmm." As she walked away again, he followed her and placed his hand on her right shoulder to stop her. "Just tell me what you are and I'll leave you alone and 'shut the [flip] up' like you wanted me to." He spoke with more sincerity than he had previously, but there was still some underlying seriousness.

OOC: Sorry, I take too long.
His name will be Johan Scribe.
BIC: Griffin was nowhere to be seen. Normally that wouldn't bother Johan: Grif often had to ditch him early for this reason or that. But right now, he was in an unknown part of town and Griffin had been his only guide back. Still, it didn't seem too bad here, not too seedy. At least compared to some other parts of the city he'd been in before. One of those adventures had ended in convincing the city guard to throw a whole bunch of guys in the stocks. Not an easy task when simultaneousely running from them.
It wasn't too bad, and Johan had dressed down a bit so he wasn't quite as prime a target for pickpockets. He'd be fine. Lost, but fine. He wandered down the street. There was a bakery on the corner, a tavern across from it, lots of houses too, and a couple open-air stands.

[ Sorry I had to shower! ]
𝒞'𝑒𝓈𝓉 𝐿𝒶 𝒱𝒾𝑒 - Okay. Do you want to start? I have to eat after this reply.
--------------------
Misty - Althea slapped his hand off of her shoulder. "You clearly know that I know what you are, correct? How did I know? By scent. Put the pieces together, fangy." She glared and started to walk away and stopped, turning around and crossing her arms. "If you pass me, I can have someone instantly kill you. Don't follow, you will be noticed." Althea turned around and started walking away. She might have been only 18(I changed her age i know lol), but people still listened to her.
--------------------
Sherk - Katherine was in the bakery Johan was by, but she though of him as one of them. She set out some loaves of bread to draw in customers and took a ribbon, tying her hair up in a side braid. The end of her hair reached to her waist, the blonde contrasting colors with her blue dress that went to her ankles. She wore flats, unlike most women. Kate walked over to the door of the bakery and got her basket of brea, walking outside to sell.

Johan watched as a woman, maybe a couple years younger than him, left the bakery, holding a basket of bread. It smelled delicious, and he was suddenly very hungry. Heading up to her, he pulled some money out of his coinpurse, "how much?" He asked, indicating her basket.

All Lucas had wanted was for Althea to answer his questions, and he hadn't felt he crossed any lines while trying to persuade her to answer. Despite that, she hadn't, leaving him to figure everything out. He hadn't wanted to do that, but it seemed that was his only option left. He folded his arms against his chest as he put the pieces together fairly quickly. Looking back, the answer was rather obvious. She had to be a werewolf. To be fair, he had never run into one and only thought they existed in rumors. "[Shoot]," he mumbled under his breath as he shot a glare at her across the border. This was beginning to sound like a page out of Twilight, and he wasn't proud to admit he had read the books on a bet. And if this was anything like the books... Well, it was best he got out of there and didn't return.

Johan didn't know much about high or low prices or anything. That wasn't his job. "I'll take a large one." He passed her five and took his bread. It was still warm! Nice. He tucked it under his arm, "do you know how to get to," what was a good landmark? "The Vermillion Minotaur? It's a tavern." It was a nice place with good food, even if it was frequented by this one crazy old coot, and run by someone who appeared irredeemably evil but hadn't actually done anything to warrant an arrest.

Misty - Althea only went home for an hour and came back, but in her wolf form. She was bigger than most wolves, but she knew that there weren't any there. She looked for the man she ran into earlier, being careful with what she did at every move. Althea came across a town but decided to stay away, people would run and she would want to shift but couldn't and it would be a big mess.
-------------------------
Sherk - Kate smiled. "Thank you, sir, and yes, I do. Would you like me to guide you there or give directions?" She asked, wanting to make sure she was as polite as possible. Nice customers come more often, more sales. Money was the key in the town because then you raised in power, but the owner of the bakery took all but three coins, one for each worker.

It didn't take Lucas very long to return to his car despite it being parked in another town by the forest (thank goodness for unnatural speed). Once inside it, he had let out a sigh, pushed a hand through his hair, and began cursing both the day and Althea as he started the vehicle. He still needed to feed soon, and he really hasn't wanted to do it in a city. It was always more likely he would get caught if he did, but he didn't have another option. The moodiness and irritability that came from being thirsty made it harder for him to blend in. He swore again as he began driving down the road, ignoring the speed limit signs. The only thing that could make this worse was running into Althea again.

He drove down the road for about an hour until he finally arrived at a small city. The drive shouldn't have been that short, but he didn't believe in following speed limits. He wasn't quite home yet - he lived in a suburb of the nearest major city - but he did need to feed. Lucas got out of the car, but not before grabbing a leather jacket. It had gotten cooler out, and he didn't want to look out of place. He stuck his hands in the jacket pockets and walked, glancing around to find someone, anyone, who was alone. He found a woman who appeared to be his age, and there wasn't a home around. Without saying a word, he grabbed her and pulled her into the shadows of an alley before sinking his fangs into her neck. Once finished, he dropped the body and made his way back to the car so he could go home.

Once home, Lucas plopped his butt on the couch and turned on the TV. He didn't need to sleep, so most of his nightly activity consisted of watching shows or movies. The plus side of that was that he was familiar with a variety of shows. The down side was that it was one of the few things he enjoyed doing while home.

Mason was in the town sorting foods in the basket for the wealthy people he worked for. He had barely any money to start with and this wasn't much. He began rushing back because the sun was almost to the middle of it's cycle, his time to be there. Mason ran, making sure he had enough of everything for the family. He knocked on the door and took off his shoes, leaving them in the corner of the front porch like he was told to do before they came to the door. Camera had been snoozing peacefully, the sun rising higher in the sky. She had been getting the best sleep she'd had in a long time. She was startled when the doorbell rang, sending the girl jumping upwards and quite nearly falling out of bed. She stretched upwards, blinking and stumbling out of bed down to the door. She pulled it open, rubbing her eyes tiredly as she yawned, hair falling across her face. The dark locks glinted warmly with a copper undertone, the warm curls wild and freely floating around her face. The girl was wearing a large t-shirt that draped across her frame, long warm socks slipping down her ankles. She registered who it was, blushing and sliding behind the door somewhat, awkwardly throwing a arm across her chest. "Uh, hey Mason, come on in," she offered a shy smile, the light rosy hue darkening on her cheeks.

Misty - just throw him in the forest xD ------------------ ɪɴᴛʀᴀɴꜱɪɢᴇɴᴛ - Mason blushed at the girl standing in front of the door, looking down and away from her for some privacy. He walked in, saying thank you and heading straight to the kitchen to put away the food neatly so the father wouldn't get mad. He quickly cleaned the dishes, drying them off and settin them in their correct places in the cabinets.

Wow, was it normal for people to act this helpful? It seemed like a great way to get mugged. On both ends, actually. But Johan didn't have a very high sense of self-preservation, so he said: "alright, I'll take a guide." He might get lost if he didn't, as he always had a guide when he was out in the town, either Griffin or a guard.

Misty - Then I can put her in the town? ------------ Sherk - Katherine smiled brightly and started walking, looking behind her shoulder and replying,"Then follow me, sir." Kate had felt that she really knew who he looked like, but still couldn't figure it out. She got stopped by a costomer and he bought two small loaves. She smiled, putting the coins in her coinpouch hooked to her waistband.

Camella closed the door gently behind him before darting quickly up the stairs and into her room. She quickly threw on leggings and a t-shirt, with a large cardigan to cover it as it was a bit chilly outside. She pulled a clean pair of wooly socks up over the leggings, and then slipped on her boots, lacing them up quickly. Just because she was rich didn't mean she dressed like it (although her cardigan and shoes were both designer brands). She darted into the bathroom, brushing her teeth and gargling with mouthwash before trying to even manage her hair. Since she showered the night prior, she decided to just brush it out, then worked to swiftly french braid it into a neat plait that hung low on her back. It was actually really neat, considering how wild her hair was, and how much she had of it. She then took a deep breath before darting down the stairs and towards the kitchen, slowing as she neared it. She calmed her breathing, hoping her heart would follow suit as she slipped in, searching about for something to eat. "Do you know if there's any coffee in the pot still?" she asked Mason shyly, voice soft in the wide room.

Camella smiled warmly, somewhat shy. "Thank you, I really appreciate that," she spoke quietly, still rather nervous. She doubted that he even paid enough attention to her normally to realize she was nervous, figuring he was too busy to watch her. She, however, had eons of free time, and had grown up, watching him turn from an awkward young boy into the handsome young man he was now. She doubted he even knew her. She gave a quiet sigh, sitting down at the counter and tracing designs on the marble counter top.

Misty - Eh, she's a wolf. )) Althea remembered his scent and shifted, running toward the place that she was directed to. Once she had been running for a while, the scent got extremely strong and she knew she was here. Althea walked behind a building and shifted back, walking out in her flowery dress and flats. She looked around, smiling at people that waved to her. (Yeah, but he did get in a car and drive home after making a stop in another town.) Lucas had the day off from work, and he planned to try enjoy it outside in the city. While he hated city law enforcement, he did enjoy the overall city atmosphere. He was constantly finding little coffee shops to spend time in while he relaxed, but he didn't make it a habit to visit the same one. He didn't want anyone to get to know him because his form of relaxation was also one of his secrets. It wasn't an issue for him if random people caught him relaxing; it was an issue if people he knew did. He was thankful that the weather today was warmer than it had been yesterday, and that meant he didn't have to wear a jacket. He slipped on a pair of headphones and put on some music as he walked down the sidewalk with a backpack on. He then ran a hand through his hair, and the movement revealed part of a tattoo on his right upper arm.

Camella blinked, raising her warm brown gaze to him, smiling faintly and dropping it once more. "Oh, nothing. Just...tired, is all," she spoke a little louder now, raising her gaze to look at his arms, studying his hands and the veins in his arm. She sighed, smile dropping. "Can I ask you something?" she asked, soft again, fingers tracing more quickly now, eyes downcast to the marble as she connected shape after shape. Her fingers itched for some paper to draw his beautiful hands and arms on, the veins striking against his skin. Oh, how beautifully oblivious he was.
