Let's talk about him for a moment.

I think Rowanclaw is intended to be a very patriotic cat, at least in The New Prophecy, Power of Three, and Omens of the Stars. In Tigerclaw's Fury and the one short story he appears in he wasn't as much. He does seem to really care about the warrior code in those books.

Sometimes I'd forget about him in earlier books, but after what he did in the AVOS arc, I don't like him.
