Shadow, that’s just an unfortunate problem the forums have always had. For italics, immediately. You need to physically go into Word and type the italics coding and end it, wherever you need italics. (Although you are certainly preaching to the choir here.  ) |

I'm going to try uploading the document to fan fiction.net with the doc manager and copying the code from there. I believe there is a way to see the code o.e' They keep the italics at least.

Also, the epilogue has been planned out in detail. I know exactly what I'm going to write, just need to find a good chunk of time to sit down and dive in, because if my notes are correct, it will be a long and somewhat complex epilogue. Not as long as chapter 40, but still significant in size.
I will not be giving any teasers, spoilers or images to ANYONE that pertain to the epilogue. I've purposefully kept everything in it under wraps (even hiding it in a secret folder on my laptop because one of my rl friends wanted to get her hands on it after I finished chapter 40) because there are so many spoilers for...well everything in the series.
All I will say is: the epilogue for Curse is central to the Clans of the Valley series in terms of expansion of the world and the mechanics of it as well. Take it as you will. ~

Just went over this old geezer's head with coding in Word! I can try and explain! (I have to do this constantly with inputting emoticons into word.) So, if you want things to immediately appear bolder or italicized on the forums without trying to find what you need bolded and inputting it on the forums. You type the coding into word. For example, say I wanted something bolded on word. I would type in without the space, and then type at the end of whatever sentence or word, I wanted bolded. Without the spaces, the coding then turns bolded. |

By the way, did anyone ever make this connection? Must have read up to chapter 13! It's been said in the story that Jadestar was the one who killed the leader of the rouges in her time who was named Blizzard. Later Talia, his second in command, takes over and creates BlizzardClan in his name for a short time and becomes Rainstar. In chapter 12, it is revealed that Falconwing, Jadestar's grandmother and Shadowhunter's mother, had a son named Blizzardtail...
Lionshadow is very correct in saying that killing their own kin is something that runs in Shadowface's family. o.o'
tldr; Jadestar killed her uncle without knowing it. Oh, how I love parallels. |

I know I told you already on twitter, but Shadow, I'm SO PROUD OF YOU FOR FINISHING!! I remember when you posted the first chapter all those years ago on the wff, and here we are today, and you've finished!
