Me too. Having them be bitter towards each other was exhausting. It reminded me a lot of relationships I've been in where the same thing happened. It's best to talk it out and be honest with one another! But, of course, when both of you are stubborn as all hell...o.e' it's tricky.
I had to stop last night and sleep, but I'll be picking it up again today!

Reading Curse is like riding a bike. Except the ground is on fire and the bike is on fire and everything’s on fire.
Where’s that comic with the dog drinking coffee in a burning building and the caption is “this is fine”? Because that would apply here.

We are 30 pages in ladies and gents. This chapter could easily come out to be 40 pages...40 pages for 40 chapters? xD
Or maybe like the prologue I'll make it a two part extravaganza
Honestly that might happen...given what is left to write.

You have a blank post between chapters 36 and 37. Why not use that? You could move the others up and then have a spot for your newest chapter.
It would be a lot of work... but that seems to be your best solution.)

Oops, dropping another small teaser because I'M EVIL. I transformed the spoilery parts so it's safe for everyone to read! *BLOOD WARNING* "I push through the last few bushes on the edge of the tree line and quickly slow my pace as I see the state of the clearing before me. A small pine lies broken on its side in a smoking heap with shallow gouges throughout the earth. Beyond the carnage a lone figure walks woodenly towards a larger pine, their head titled upwards at a slight angle. I follow their eye line to where, in the middle of the trunk of the pine, a cat-sized hole has been blasted open. And hanging limply within is a mass of thick, dark fur. Limbs stick out awkwardly from the hole with splinters of bark piercing through the victim's fur at different intervals. Blood drips ominously from the tree, covering it like sap. " |
