Just to let everyone know I'm trying out a new layout on a separate thread. I think a fun re-design is needed.
Also, I got some decent progress on Chapter 37! I need to sit down and really dig in for this one. Lots of finessing to do.

A VERY EARLY/ROUGH SNEAK PEEK OF CHAPTER 37 Shadowface “No, I do not know you.”
“That’s weird,” I hiss, barely containing the frustration and anger bleeding into my speech. “We have been acquainted quite well over these past few seasons. I dare say we’re even old friends.”
Lionshadow’s spirit looks at my missing eye, his expression still surprisingly calm. “You would call someone you want to kill an old friend?”
I frown, realizing just how much this conversation is being dragged out. I definitely want to question him more, but I don’t have time for that. “Come with me, and I will take you to your soul.”
I turn, expecting him to follow, but instead I hear the echo of his fur scraping against stone as he sits. I can feel the pressure of his blue eyes shifting over the dip in my spine.
“I have hurt you,” he says, his voice hollow with realization.
I stop, keeping my eyes on the exit, my claws scraping against the ground. “I said, come with me. Or else I will drag you out,” I growl.
“She would never say such things,” he continues, his voice cracking. “She was free-spirited and outspoken at times…but never rude. Never mean.”
It is then that I turn, my green eye meeting his blue eyes, which are now glistening with…grief.
“Forgive me,” he says, shaking his head as that ghost smile returns. “You look so much like my daughter…it pains me to see such rage on your face…and to see the marks I have put upon you.”
“I don’t care,” I growl. “I am beyond caring about who I look like to you.”
Lionshadow winced. Winced. “Fair enough,” he said, his jaw clenching. “I will come with you then.” AND A SNEAK PEEK FOR THE NEWLY EDITED CHAPTER 18
The pain…the burning…the scorching…fire was in my skull, in my eye sockets; it burnt the most in my chest, where my heart should have laid protected behind an impenetrable cage.
My heart…did I have one? The fire was burning it all away…my sense of others emotions around me, the simple ability to love…why…why was it turning to ash?
In the distance, green fire rose through the pines, devouring the paths that had once led to the MountainClan camp, only now to be buried under ash.
The Lonely Lake choked on the ash, filling with bodies burnt beyond recognition.
And there, on the shore, with the green fire reflected in his misty blue eyes, was Rushstorm.
“Why? Why did you do this to us?” He asked me, his throat hoarse from breathing in too much smoke.
And there beneath him lying lifeless on the ground, were seven tiny bodies.

Yay! Chapter 37! Lionblaze has a heart. Amazing. Interesting to hear Shadowface looks like his daughter, perhaps the Wanderer is related to him?

hmmm. Very interesting indeed.... I'm very curious to see what has caused this shift in behaviour. Well, shadow, you've successfully intrigued me yet again.

This week I have a feeling major progress is going to be made. I recently had to write a short story for class (came out to 12 pages) which is why I haven't been on much. But now that it's going through a workshop next Wednesday I got some down time to work on my personal projects!

What are the workshops like?

Sounds nice! What are the workshops like? Basically we each get a copy of everyone else's piece, we go home and read it, and the next class we talk about them. (There's only 9 of us but right now we are only doing 2 manuscripts per class time so it's going to take us a few weeks since we only meet twice a week AND we got other things going on in between). We go around the table and we each get a chance to tell the author what we think: what we liked, what we didn't like and what needs to be improved or what we would have done if it was our piece. The last workshop I did I submitted a piece with Hadiya (human version of course) and they loved it. I was shocked because...well I don't know I feel like it's different showing people my work in that class because they are all (most of them are) English majors and one of them is a grad student and then there is the professor (WHO IS WONDERFUL AND AMAZING) who has a PHD in creative writing (which hearing that is scary trust me). AND SHE LOVED IT. She even told me she could tell I was a novelist and I was like 'bruh it's just fan-fiction right now I'm not even published x'D' She's so awesome and has the most amazing feedback and is very respectful. Like, why can't all English professors be this awesome? (good thing is I get to take more of her classes and I'm STOKED.)

You can easily see the world building and character development skills. Some of that does come naturally to some of us I do expect to see your human version of Curse published one day.

My original playlist for Curse was entirely rock/grunge music. Very heavy, which influenced a lot of the early planning.
Thanks guys. <3 The workshop today went really well. Mostly compliments out of everyone with a few minor suggestions. No real critiques or things wrong with the piece.

That was when my journal obsession began...
Well, my good friend. It is Human Curse (plot and scene ideas specifically) that I am using the journal pages for. Right now I'm tweaking with how to open the novel, which is completely different from what I have here.
