So this would make Snow and Shadowdance, cousins, yes? Interesting, a hybrid and a replacement Curse. (Thanks to Hadiya, we even needed a replacement in the first place....) Anyway, so Snow knows things because of Lionshadow, makes sense. And now a portal is needed to go kill him, but now Shadowface wants to save Blackheart. (She was my favorite living sibling since I didn’t like Mintfeather very much, before she died.) And if not the Relam of the Dead, where are Shadowdance’s ancestors? Should I assume Rogue cameos we’re killed in those twenty deaths? |

Honestly, Curse is such a roller coaster of emotions. I loved seeing the bond between the kits in this chapter (and I'm all for Cool Uncle Eaglefrost) and any chapter with Darkmoon in it is a great one. I'm starting to really like Ashpaw as a character, as well. So young, but so mature. I imagine she had to grow up fast.
Interesting revelations in this chapter, Shadow...

The calm before the storm... Yes, I'm so glad Eagle and Shadow have made up! And Darkmoon's POV is always good, especially that Moonpaw reference at the end ;-;
As for Shadow's ancestors, I wonder if they're trapped in some parallel realm of the living? Also, is Snow's power a "replacement" for the pain curse? That might explain why Lion is able to talk to her... |

Blackheart will be seen again, for sure! All we know is that they are NOT in the Realm of the Dead. The only confirmed kill was Akiro (Tuesday's cameo) as a nod to her also liking to kill off characters. x'D |

Very interesting indeed... Cool Uncle Eaglefrost x'D Ashpaw is a wonderful character. She essentially acts more mature because of the knowledge in her head. Imagine being a baby again but already knowing how the cycle of life and death works. It's a bit overwhelming. Gotta tie up all the loose ends in my head. x'D And set up for the last few chapters. |

Hmmmm, yes, Darkmoon POV is one of the best to write. That is a good possibility! It's a replacement for the Curse of Bravery which was killed off by Hadiya in the Blood Wars. It's taken a very long time for that replacement to come about (hundreds of years). Goes to show how fragile the species is. And (while not mentioned in this chapter) once you awaken your curse powers, you can see the dead. But you shouldn't see them often since the Realm of the Living is the...well its for the living. x'D So Lionshadow would have had to come to her, instead of her FINDING him...(my poor characters are a bit off the mark in their thinking) |

Just a heads up: Next weekend (or whenever I get free time) I'm going to be working on old chapters and posting them here instead of going on with Chapter 35. DSOTM chapter 6 will also be coming along, but the gap is my first priority for now.
When November comes around I'm going to be working on Nanowrimo, so I won't be as active here posting new material wise. But I will give you guys updates! (':

The kits are so cute, especially in this chapter! I just can’t handle the cuteness xD
It was a great chapter! It’s nice to have Eaglefrost back and I loved the moment between Darkmoon and Shadowface at the end.
