I have no idea.
I think I might join Deviantart, though, since my web address and stuff expires next month and I don't particularly feel like paying to renew it when I don't have a large following. I feel like Deviantart would increase my exposure, but the downside is that people can't comment unless you have an account :/ It is free, though.
Thoughts?

Have you tried Wix.com? I'm using it and it's completely free. The thing is you will have to deal with wix ads unless you pay money to get rid of them, but it's still a really nice format if you want a free website.
I would go ahead and make a dev account/join. I mean, why not?

I considered it, but I think space will be an issue, due to the sheer amount of comic pages. I really like the folder feature DA has, too, so I could have multiple projects running in the same place.

Also wouldn't Darkestday's kits carry on the other curse? I thought of that question, earlier. Well, as should be observed, curses are inherited genetically (for the most part) so yes, it can be expected that they will inherit Darkestday's genes. A curse though? Who said anything about the silver eyes being another curse? :'P I meant a different curse! He is Cloudspots's brother after all, so surely it's in his genes.

I'm ok. Recovering from being really sick last week, but I'm relatively ok now. Back to school today.
How are you?

Same Shadow! XD School is looming on the horizon and I'm just dead thinking about it. All my teachers are giving us projects, essays, tests, and crap like that since it's almost the end of the year. Oh well, hopefully I'll make it. I should probably be working on hw now but I'm trying to take a little break.

Thanks <3 Ahhh, slowly but surely! I have the first few pages drawn out, I just have to scan and colour them. I don't really have the time at the moment, due to school, so I spend most of my time chipping away at some illustrations that I'm working on. It's frustrating, not being able to work on it, but come November I'm free and have all the time in the world, so I have to focus on that.

Hey Shadow? Do you live on campus at your university/college?

Well, considering I'm moving pretty much interstate at the end of the year (and thus several hours away from any university at all) it's looking like living on campus will be my only option, and I was just wondering how you found it. It will be quite a change for me.

Psst, I posted a new one-shot.
Well, it depends how you feel about leaving home. I was super excited. I love change and I hate doing the same thing every single day in the same place. If you know your going to be homesick you will probably cry. A lot. But it's a great experience, one that you will need if you are ever going to be living on your own.

Aw yes! I'll rea sit at lunch time!
Hmmm, interesting. I was going to say that it would be my first experience living away from home, but I may get he chance to live and work overseas for six months before I start uni, so by then it wouldn't be totally new. I love new experiences, but I do tend to get a bit of seperation anxiety sometimes, and I'd be at least 4 hours away from home. But, I know it would be a good experience.
I have basically two options; - come back to my home town for uni, which means I may be able to live in a friends spare room, but it would still be at least an hours commute away from campus, and then go home for the holidays - move to a different city in a different state and live on campus, coming home for the holidays.
All universities I'm considering are 4/5 hours away from the place I'm moving to.

In the United States, it's usually a lot more expensive to live on campus. Is it the same in Australia?

I don't really know. From what I've read, rent seems to be about $100 or so a week, but there are also security deposits, parking fees, and a bunch of other stuff that increases the price. I think it comes to around $2000 a year or something, on top of regular uni fees.

Honestly if there is a way you can live off campus for cheaper I would do it. I'm already almost $20,000 in debt and I'm just finishing up my third year. And I went to "cheap" colleges.

Hmmm, that's a really good point. I do think that if I end up staying in my state (New South Wales) for uni I'd defineilty stay with friends. They have a granny flat type thing in their yard thet they said I could live in. If I end up going interstate to Victoria I'd have to live on campus since I don't know anyone there.
Going to Victoria looks increasingly likely though, since not only is the course offered there better (and internationally recognised, unlike the one son NSW) and I recently found out that course fees are cheaper than the uni I was considering here. There's a lot to consider, so in June I've decided to go to a university expo event where I can speak to representatives from all the places I'm considering without having to travel insane distances.
It's so good to be able to talk to you about this.

That's really good that you are weighing your options so carefully. The more you interview the colleges, the better you should feel about the choice you make. And just a tip from something I've experienced, if you see a class you like on their "brochure", make sure you ask the college if they are still teaching that class. The first college I went to falsely put classes up that they didn't teach anymore. Friggen butts. >.< I wanted an environmental science minor and they didn't have it!
Victoria sounds really great. Debt is debt. It can get paid off. And living on campus is generally the better option, even if it is more expensive.
I'm glad. (':

Well, its a big decision. Combined with the fact that I am a pedantic researcher, its important that I make the right decision for me.
Interviewing is good - I've got a school based thing on Friday where a couple of the local universities will come and talk to us, so I'll be able to chat to representatives from the Sydney (my city) based ones that I'm considering, and then I'll be able to chat with the Victorian universities in June. I'm also going to try and get down to Victoria for the university open day, where you can go and look at the accomodation.
Ugh, thats awful! That actually happened to a friend of mine, but id forgotten about it until just now! Thanks for the tip!
Yeah, debts awful at the time, but not much I can do about it. I'm fortunate enough to be able to apply for financial help (I come from a single parent family) in my own state, so I wonder if that extends to Victoria...
You guys help me more than you know <3

I won't, don't worry XD
I did find out something about Victoria that isn't so good, though. I want to study journalism, which is a communication degree. Victoria, however, do not offer this degree, so I'd have to a Bachelor of Arts, which is three years, followed by a masters of journalism, which is another two years, so it's five years in total, whereas here I can do a bachelor of communication, which is only three years, so it's a more direct pathway.

By the way, I need a slap in the face. I'm dragging my feet on this next Curse chapter. I think I'm starting to feel "THE END IS NEAR" jitters. x'D
