Honestly, I'm just really sick of them calling my cat 'horrible' and a 'viscous brute', when my cats personality is exactly the opposite. They have no proof whatsoever that it was even my cat that attacked theirs - there are about four black cats in my street alone, and its impossible to tell the difference between them. We've never had a single complaint about any of our pets until they moved in.
We basically just learned the hard way that he's a horrible person :/
But, as I said, we're moving in November, so just gotta focus on that. It's crazy how one bad experience can change your whole perceptions of a place. But my family is very very supportive of me, and my grandparents chewed him out twice for it, and so did his wife, so I hope he feels worse than I do. I'm a naturally anxious person, so I have a feeling I'm going to be on edge until we move. I couldn't bear to have anything happen to my cat because some jerk is making assumptions and accusations without any proof.
