It's just a shame there are so few Mau catteties in Australia, and the ones I've found don't breed often or are too far away.

I love shelter cats - my cat is a shelter baby - but I do love my purebreds. The dangers with shelters is I want to adopt them all! XD

You've had Maine Coons for longer than I've been alive, wow. Six cats at once! How did you manage?
I'd love an Egyptian Mau when I'm older, or a Bengal.
Now I will have four and that is my limit at my age now LOL (Hard to wrap around the thought that I will be 60 in March)

Then Phantom was brn next door to my neighbor's ex;s cat. Orion was a 2 month old stray kitten that walked right up to m niece and we took him in. Munchkin wandered into the area with another cat we think was his brother. We took Munchkin is.
Mandee we adopted from a lady who rescued stray cats. Then Indy, Warlocke, Kai, Darwin, Abby and soon Jaja came from reputable breeders. |

Wow, I love this. After reading your book I know who all those cats are. XD It's like hearing about old friends. Which is odd. You hear all about them in your book and then they get talked about.  |

When we got our cat, I was adamant he had to be a rescue, even though the nearest RSPCA was over an hour away from where we live! his litter had been found on the side of the road, and I can't believe someone would abandon kittens who weren't even 8 weeks old. All the kittens found new homes, though, so thats good.
Woah, that is a lot of cats!
*sigh*
Backyard breeders are so troublesome. When I was working up at the vet clinic, we'd sometimes have people bring up kittens that they'd found, and those poor babies were always so frightened. We'd make sure they were ok, then send them down to a locally owned shelter. Reputable breeders are good, though.

We lost Warlocke in 2012. I based Smokewind on him.
I hope I can write Kais story along with others. . .so much to write and not enough time!

I myself love Turkish Angoras, Norwegion Forest Cats (which is what I imagine most of the CotV cats to be/look like), and Nebelungs.

Thanks, Mint. :'3 Yeah I was going to surprise you all but the minute I got it done I was so tired I just slapped it in my status and was going to let you all see it for yourselves haha. BUT YES THE CLANS OF THE VALLEY SERIES HAS AN OFFICIAL WEBSITE NOW OMG As well as The Forest of Kalmera series but that's still very much underwritten compared to CotV. ALSO THIS IS IMPORTANT: Clans of the Valley has now been re-named for the human version!!! FATE OF FIRE Fate of Fire series r FoF is the new term when referring to the original work. NOT the fan-fiction. What do you guys think? And for those of you who just want to see more of this fan-fiction, I swear, I've been working on it, but motivation is scarce when you got to save it for college.Not to mention that staying up late to write hasn't been good for my sleeping pattern. ;-; BUT DO NOT FEAR. I have some days off coming up soon and ONE WAY OR ANOTHER CURSE WILL BE FILLED IN AND COMPLETED. I literally have a sticky note on my wall right next to my bead that says: GET CURSE DONE
THEN SLEEP

The names just go so well together I think of it as a alternate name for Curse. I've fully explored the website by now and am really looking forward to the future of it. It is so pretty! And the summaries and playlist... I can go on, but it would spoil it for every other Curse fan. |

You were listed and I went to your profile to find the Curse topic and saw the website URL. So excited I looked at it between wishing you a happy b-day.

Firstly - happy birthday! Wow, I can't believe you're so much older than me XD
But hooray for being a legal adult!
I am working on a present for you - I've been working on it since the end of January, but school work has severely impacted my ability to finish things, but I'll have it up before next week for you!
Secondly - congrats on your website! It looks great! You must feel so proud! I've been poking around and it looks fantastic, and great on mobile browsers, too! I'm so pleased for you! I love the new name, too. It really fits right in with the overall tone of the series and rolls off the tongue really nicely. I can't wait to see where you go with it, and I'm as eager for the next fan fiction chapter as ever XD

I bet! Sometimes I struggle to remember that I'm turning 18 this year. Its kinda scary, how fast time goes sometimes. I mean, it feels like yesterday I left primary school.
Don't be silly - I love drawing Curse stuff! It's coming along nicely, so it shall appear soon!
