8tracks is an internet radio website with millions of user-created playlists/mixes.
If your looking for a specific playlist, you can search up literally almost anything, including ideas ("war", "fantasy", "dark", "heaven", "viking"), artists (Imagine Dragons, Bastille, ect.), genres, and even moods ("happy", "sad", "writing", "study", "creepy" ect.).
I really want to create some Curse playlists now. But, yes, 8tracks is an excellent place to go if you're looking for a specific mood/playlist.

Ok, ok! I have a couple of sketches somewhere....
Fair enough. I'll have to look up some interesting mythology....
I used my psychic powers to read your mind. O.O Hum... but there are so many interesting mythologies. How do you choose? Great! Can you please tell me what goes on in my head? I can never find out.

Yaaassssss, Ospreypaw one-shots! And that is an excellent name.
Aw, poor Moonpaw and Darkmoon. It's quickly becoming my Curse OTP, so yeah. There shall be art. I'm thinking it's time to break out the copic markers. Quick question, because I can't quite remember - what colour is Moonpaw? I seem to remember her being described as white with black van markings, but I have no idea if that's cannon or if I just made that up. She'd get odd eyes, too, because that seems to be a common occurrence in white vans O.o I've been thinking a lot about genetically accurate warriors, lately.
And Mint - I really don't know which one to choose!
I'll let you know when I figure out what's going on in my own head o-o

Ah! Yes! Finally want to brake this drawing block. I want to draw Moonpaw (just Moonpaw, because loneliness.) So... I need to know the same thing as Dingo... If not, I'll just draw Ospreypaw again.
Egyptian, Greek, or Norse are classics. But I'm leaning toward Native American as interesting at this point. It hasn't been used as often.
Please do. XD

Oooh, I will check that out Moon! :'O Thanks for explaining it to me. Mᴏᴏɴ - -"I smiled at her as she approached, her pure white pelt nearly blending into her snowy surroundings, her extremely pale blue eyes shining with humor.
She was slightly taller than me, her legs long and limber. She looked a lot like a perfect snowflake." - The Crimson BloomStraight from the source. :'3 Dingoleap mintedstar/fur

Thanks Shadz! I have no idea where I got the fact that she was a black/white Turkish van from XD Where did I get the inability to draw any of them using there actual description? Shadowface is a calico (not a tortoiseshell) and Darkmoon is a black she-cat (she's really dark gray). And Ospreypaw doesn't look much like a tabby (if she's really a tabby at all. I haven't checked.) So, you at least came up with a beautiful discription. O.O Like, I just stick with how they sound like they should look. If that sentence made and sense.

I believe Osprey is also a tortoiseshell, but she's more orange, with very little black/white. I think. And tortoiseshells are really hard to draw. I can barely manage it digitally, using a textured brush. I have yet to figure out traditional tortoiseshells O.o
I'm really into cat genetics/purebred warriors at the moment, so that might be why the description sounds like that.
Hey, » ѕнαdσω ⚔️, do you want to hear my Curse headcanons? Because I have those. Yep. It's now a thing.

Ah, then I think I did a really fancy calico. I'd have to check the fan art page or go back through my notebooks.

Dingoleap If it helps, I loosely based Ospreflight's coat pattern off of an osprey's feather pattern. Certain osprey's have orange, black, and white feathers. Very vibrant and pretty. It fit her wild personality. The hard thing about tortoiseshells is that their like Zebras. From a distance they can all look the same but up close they each have a unique coat. I tried my best to distinguish my tortoiseshell characters from each other. Like, Shadowface is a tortoiseshell tabby, which means her orange patches have tabby stripes. And half of her face is black and she has white mittens and a white tail tip. Ospreyflight like I said above looks like an osprey bird made into cat. She's got thick black fur marks around her eyes (not like a mask, more like flared eyeliner or a cheetah) and she's overall brighter in color. Blackheart is dark like Shadowface but is purely a tortoiseshell with no tabby markings. She has a large white slash on her chest as well. Curse headcannons? I don't even know what those are. x'D mintedstar/fur Tortoiseshells and calicos can be really similar in their look. Calico's usually have a more broken up pelt while torties have their colors all slashed/mushed together. Though some calicos can be considered torties and vice versa. It's a bit weird. o.e

I really like how much you distinguish between your charcaters. It's one of the things that makes this so great - it's not just your genetic tortoishesell or tabby, each one of uniquely different.
And for the record, tortoiseshell tabbies are the best. I love torbies. They need more recognition.
How do I even explain headcannons? It's like... things a fan believes would work well or look good within the universe of a particular story, even if it's not cannon. Hence 'head canon'.
One Warriors headcannon I really like is that it is extremely disrespectful to call a Leander by their warrior name and that Tigerclaw would refer to Bluestar as 'Bluefur' when plotting to overtake thunderclan to demonstrate his complete lack of respect for his leader.
I guess technically it's also an alternate timeline/universe.
So, curse headcannons = things your readers think would look good in the Curse universe even if they aren't cannon.
Does that make sense?

I've drawn tortoiseshells before, but drawing calicos are easier for me. I believe that I've only ever drawn my OC Skyfire with tortoiseshell fur before. )

Ok, lets do this. things I imagine taking place in the Cursed universe -
- I always pictured Cloudspots as being affected by 'snowflake' leukoderma, which is the progressive loss of pigment, creating beautiful white spots against black fur
- I can image that Shadowface found it difficult to completely love her kits, knowing how the curse would take them all away from her.
- Darkmoon knew Shadowface was cursed, so she pushed her hard in training, enforcing resilience to help Shadowface cope with her burden.
- Maskstar loved Cloudspots, even though she didn't love him back, which is why he agreed to raise her kits as his own. Cloudspots considered him her best friend, which is why she trusted him with her secrets.
- Cloudspots, perhaps knowing that Shadowface would be the next affected by the Curse, favoured her over her other kits because it was important to her that Shadowkit knew that she was loved, knowing that sooner or later, Shadowkit would be alone. This, naturally, didn't sit so well with the other kits, particularly Ospreykit, sparking intense sibling rivalry.
That's it so far, really. I hope you all enjoyed my imaginings!

It's quite interesting, really. Cats start off dark and gradually become white. It seems that the condition can stabilise over time though, creating a really striking effect.

Just excited! Looks like another Maine Coon is joining our home! We wanted her when she was a kitten but the breeder kept her for breeding. Well Jaja an't seem to get pregnant so we are adopting her. She resembles Shadowface!

CHAPTER 31 IS ALMOST DONE OMG Dingoleap - Whoa, that is really crazy! It looks exactly how I imagine Cloudspots to look like. No joke. Maybe I should make this official? :'O Man, these cats are gorgeous. Thank you for sharing this Dingo. I would have never known about it! phantomstar57 - EEEK. She looks like a EaglefrostxShadowface mix. Shadowface's colors but with Eaglefrost's lynx tufts. :'D

You're most welcome! It's so interesting. I have a colour chart from MessyBeast.dom that I use to design cats sometimes, and thats where I found it. They've got some really good stuff there.
And Phantom, that is an adorable cat! She is so fluffy!

How many other cats do you have, Phantom?

Yep I've had cats since 1987, and have had Maine Coons since 1990. I once had six cats at one time, but that was a bit too many! Four now will be the limit. . . .. once JaJa arrives LOL.

You've had Maine Coons for longer than I've been alive, wow. Six cats at once! How did you manage?
I'd love an Egyptian Mau when I'm older, or a Bengal.
