A WARRIORS MOVIE?!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
About time. Dear lord they are bestselling authors with a bestselling series! They deserve the attention. If they could do it like the Guardians of Ga'hoole movie it will be fantastic.
I will wheel you into the theater myself Phantom if they take too long! x'D Every warriors reader must experience it.
It would be so cool if all of us could meet and watch it together when it comes out. A big warrior forums party!
On a side note, I wanted to let you all know that this weekend went splendidly and I got a ton of information for my vision for how the people of the clans of the valley world will look and how much "technology" they have access to. If you all have any questions or even ideas that you have imagined when thinking about the humanized CotV world, please share it!
I am also currently ill with a cold, so I am staying at home today and tomorrow. While I'm resting I hope to get a draft going for Chapter 31. I have decided that this chapter will pick up where we left off with chapter 30, and the end of the chapter will be a kind of "bridge" into chapter 32 which will focus on the end of Jadestar's story line. If any of you have any questions don't be afraid to ask. :'3
Also, as for the filling the gap between the old and new chapters on the front page, I promise it will get done eventually. It's just very tedious work, and sadly I am a very impatient person when it comes to coding. o3o'

Oh my god, imagine if we all met up somewhere to watch it? That would be so cool. It could honestly be the worst movie ever and I would still go and see it. I do hope they don't butcher it, though, and try to cram too much into one movie.
I'm so glad your weekend went splendidly! I so can't wait to read the things you've come up with! Ooh, it's all so exciting! I can't wait to read the next chapter, either!

To be honest, I don't care if it's terribly done. If it's a Warriors movie I'm definitely watching it. XD
Hm...I think some of the human characters should be able to perform magic. Shadowface could have pyrokinesis (obviously), Darkmoon has either shadow animation or pyrokinesis, Hadiya has aether/netherkinesis. There could be a myth that Wolfheart could shapeshift into a giant wolf at will. Eaglefrost has enhanced sense, like a hawk/eagle. Or maybe even flight?
Take your time, Shadz! I'd love to read 31 when it's finished. ^u^

Take your time, Shadz! I'd love to read 31 when it's finished. ^u^ 100% agree with you there! Haha, oh goodness, as much as I love the ideas, all of them are already assigned certain..."powers". Chapter 31 will finally be revealing the cursed and what they all do. I really wish I could just spill the beans now, but the reveal will be worth it, and I promise you, you will not be disappointed by their..."magical" qualities. The CotV world isn't a "magic" world. It's more a "curse" world where all the "non-natural" oddities originate from them. Guardians, the realms, portals, doors, even odd traditions all came from them in some shape or form. I hope to explain it better in chapter 31, and in the "Which Curse are you?" quiz following afterward. x'D I hope chapter 31 will be completed before I go to college which is in January. Maybe by some miracle it will be earlier? This last chapter took an entire year because of all I went through emotionally and mentally, but now that I am healed for the better, I feel my pace of writing will improve as well, along with the quality. |

To tell the truth, I plan on watching it even if it's the worst movie in the world. I've been waiting years for a chance at a warriors movie. I'm not going to complain. (And even if it's awful there is always a chance we could get another one in the future made by someone else.)

I can't help feeling that they're going to but the first six books into one movie, and so on and so on, which would be all right if they did it well, I suppose. I'm also kind of hoping that they don't make it too childish, as well, because the books get quite dark in nature at times. Tues is an excellent helper. She's helped me polish up quite a few of my own ideas. Speaking of ideas, I've started working on a concept for my major work for English, where I get to write my own original collection of stories, and the best get published into an actual book. I don't have anything concrete to share yet, but it's all very exciting. I really can't wait to read chapter 31! I'm so excited to learn more about the cursed. Give me the big reveal! Man, Shadow, you have no idea how much I needed to hear that. I've had an awful week, so I really appreciate that. I am proud, but I've still got a long way to go before I get to where I want to be. I do think I've already started to improve, so that's something. |

Ah, that's great news. I'm glad that you're feeling good enough to write again! c: Lol, I honestly quite liked your imaginative ideas. It's really important to have in story writing and art. (': Curse does fall under fantasy, but I'm trying my best to have everything placed within "scientific" reasoning. It will be more obvious in the human version, and soon I will be sharing with all my readers what exactly that entails. I do need as much feed back as possible once I seriously begin the novel. I hope to get your opinion on all of it when I am ready to present it! x'D It's a tedious process converting from fan-fiction to original work. o3o' Thank you, Moon. :'3 |

I agree. I think it would be cool if they did it similar to how they did the Jungle Book reboot, how it was realistic CGI and not animation. That could work really well. I've got lots of planning to do, but that's certainly the aim! I'm playing around with heaps of different concepts at the moment, revolving around psychology, the human mind, and the sixth sense. I've got some research books that I'm reading, and it's really interesting so far. Eeeeeeee! Send me all the messages! I can't wait! The not knowing kills me! You know, the suspense has been, without a doubt, one of the best parts of this story for me. Every chapter leaves me on the edge of my seat, literally screaming at my laptop because you can't end it there on such a cliffhanger! I really hope you publish this some day, so I can buy ten copies and force my family and friends to read it. That really means so much to me, Shadow. I've had a truly awful week, so logging on to find such an amazing message waiting for me is much appreciated, and much needed. And I'm really starting to think we spend a great deal of time in awe of each other. Well, the next page is almost finished, and I spent a great deal of time thumbnailing he next ten or so pages today  |

If they follow the books well and do it like the did the Jungle Book's recent release, I'd e ok with it. No cartoons and esp not Japanese anime style. Anime has its place but, with Warriors, I'd want to see realistic cats. Maybe its just my age. . .but I'd need it to be a serious endeavor and not something made just for kids.

Shadowface
I felt no more pain as I ventured into the abyss. I knew it was this realm because of the familiar chill it sent along my spine, a chill that froze the very blood in my veins.
Blood. There was blood on the grass I had laid on not moments before. My spine had just been severed by Lionshadow’s cursed strength. This wasn’t where I expected to be sent to first, but maybe I wasn’t dead. No, not yet. I was here for a reason.
I felt a bizarre tugging in my chest, as if my heart beat was slowing and then speeding up. It was adjusting. Possibly adjusting to this realm I had slipped into.
“Shadowface…”
A new chill scattered away the truth of my senses, and I dared to turn to face the voice that had come from the darkness.
Bright, frosty blue eyes glowed in the dark veil. What little light there was highlighted the figure’s broad shoulders and lynx tufts on the ends of his ears.
No, it can’t be true…how is he here?
“Eaglefrost?” I breathed, hope shattering through my resolve as I dashed through the ebony fog to greet him.
I crashed into him, and I felt to my delight his heart beat through his fur, his large paw snaking around my shoulders and holding me closer.
“I’m sorry,” he murmured into my ear, his voice deep and strong, just as I had remembered it.
“Why are you sorry?” I replied, pulling my head back to look at his face.
Bright, fiery amber eyes stared back into mine.
I gasped, ripping myself from his embrace and taking a couple of shaky steps back.
He’s not Eaglefrost…Eaglefrost has blue eyes…but why does he look exactly like him otherwise?
The tom’s gaze looked grave, his handsome features stained by the stress I could now see in those broad shoulders.
“As you can see, I do have something to be sorry for.”
I kept my eyes on him, wary now of his presence. I felt I had looked into those eyes before; fiery embers that were opposites of Eaglefrost’s chilled ice.
He took a step forward, and a foreign light soft like moonlight poured down onto us, revealing that in fact he was even more different from my friend than I had realized. His pelt was what Eaglefrost’s had been before the fall from the cliff just before we had become warriors. It was tabby, not the broken up spots and stripes of a wild cat.
“I am sorry for not being who you are wishing for, but mostly, I am sorry I could not offer this sooner,” he explained, coming within a breaths distance of me again. This time I did not back away.
My brow furrowed. “What is it that you are offering?”
He smiled, though the warmth did not reach his eyes. “The truth.” STAY TUNED FOR MORE OF CHAPTER 31 AND A SPECIAL HALLOWEEN TREAT! |
