... that all the cats that left in HJ are going to have a role in AVOS. This includes Ebonyclaw, Harveymoon, Curlypaw, Parsleyseed, Cherrytail, Nettlesplash, Mintfur, Waspwhisker, and Fidgetpaw. It just seems strange that the Erins would dump all those characters and have them never appear again. Unless they were all meant to die and HarperCollins didn't let them, so they just sacked them off somewhere else indefinitely.
I can definitely see Cherrytail coming back, being a rather important character. Waspwhisker could pull a Graystripe and come back with Fidgetpaw. I mean, the two were conveniently deputy and medicine cat apprentice and were the only cats captured...

I agree. I do really hope Fidgetpaw comes back, I liked him.
I can't see Waspwhisker or Curlypaw coming back, though.

I really want Waspwhisker to come back. I like his name and personality, and I was happy when he was picked deputy. I wasn't expecting it. But then he somehow got taken away and Hawkwing got the position :/
I like Fidgetpaw too.

I do think it's possible that some of the ones taken without their will could find their way back. But then again, even though Graystripe made it back, he almost quit several times and wouldn't have made it without Millie. So out of the ones who probably still wanted to make it back, not all who tried to get back to the clan would probably succeed.

But then again, even though Graystripe made it back, he almost quit several times and wouldn't have made it without Millie. So out of the ones who probably still wanted to make it back, not all who tried to get back to the clan would probably succeed. All of them left on purpose except for Waspwhisker and Fidgetpaw. I think hey could make it - after all, Fidgetpaw's got medicine cat experience and Waspwhisker was obviously deputy at the time. He's dedicated enough, I think. Maybe we'll get a manga series about his return *coughGraystripecough*
An interesting note is that Sandynose and Fallowfern got captured by twolegs after the Darktail's invasion, but they found their way back to SkyClan and they were all the way in the gorge. |

Let's not forget Cloudmist. She stayed behind with Cherrytail. So if Cherrytail comes back, I can imagine Cloudmist would be with her.
I doubt Harveymoon and Ebonyclaw will come back, or Parsleyseed and Curlypaw. Waspwhisker and Fidgetpaw still have a chance, but it's slim. Nettlesplash and Mintfur may come back with their kits too, but it's hard to say.

I can see some of them coming back, but not everyone. For example, the ones who left to become kittypets did so of their own free will (this includes the daylight warriors who stayed behind), so I can see them coming back except give others information on where to find their lost Clanmates. As for the others, it's hard to say. Fidgetpaw coming back would be a problem, because he's only a half trained apprentice with no mentor, so it wouldn't do the clan much good (plus it's heavily implied someone will have to move to Skyclan because they have no medicine cat).
Waspwhisker coming back is just asking for trouble, because there could very well be an argument over who should be deputy. Unlike Brambleclaw, Hawkwing offered to step down if he came back, but many cats trust him now because he's the one that is leading them to the other Clans. However, Waspwhisker is also trusted by the other cats, so I could see an argument breaking out fairly easily. Maybe it could even get to dangerous levels, such as what happened between Mudclaw and Onewhisker.
Clovertail is already old, so I see her as too frail to make the journey. Cherrytail stayed behind because of what happened to her mate (at least partially), so I can't see her returning. Cloudmist might though...
Pebbleshine is confirmed to be dead, but we might see her in Starclan... Mintfur and Nettlesplash might return, and bring the kits... At least one of the kits has confirmed to be returning by the time of the Darkest Night...
As for the others, I could see them returning, but I'm not sure how they would reunite with the others... I guess we will have to wait for another book to find out...
