It was pretty good. Did it all in one sitting. Since I just finished it, I'm just going to bullet my thoughts in no particular order. - I'm not a huge fan of Hawkwing himself. He reminds me too much of Tallstar in his SE, which is not a good thing. Too hotheaded for me, I guess. Don't like him as deputy either, since I like Waspwhisker a lot better...
- I can't believe that Pebbleshine didn't come back. I was expecting it as I kept reading, because the Erins usually don't kill off the protagonist's mate, but when she didn't turn up I was surprised.
- WHY DID WASPWHISKER HAVE TO GET TAKEN AWAY? He was one of my favorite SkyClan cats... I was so happy when he became deputy. I guess I can hope he pulls a Graystripe, but eh...
- THANK YOU ERINS FOR MAKING PLUMWILLOW RELEVANT. Also one of my favorite SkyClan cats. She did not disappoint.
- Are Twigpaw and Violetpaw Pebbleshine's kits? It sure seems like it.
- Why was Echosong killed off in the MANGA of all things? And offscreen too! Geez. If I hadn't read it, I wouldn't have known.
- I hope Harveymoon and Ebonyclaw turn up again. I now like Macgyver for staying with SkyClan, but I still like the former two.
- Wow, this book was dark. So many characters died - Stormheart, Firefern, Snipkit, one or two of Leafstar's lives, Sharpclaw, Dodge... this doesn't even count the cats who left or got taken away!
So yeah, there's my thoughts.

For fun, I'm going to list all the cats who died/went away that I can remember. Died: Duskpaw Billystorm Toad (guess he won't be in anymore Mario games) Dodge (Ford) Leafstar's Life(s) Stormheart Sharpclaw Honeytail Patchpelt Snipkit Rileypool Firefern Echosong Missing or Left: Pebbleshine Frecklewish Ebonyclaw Harveymoon Parsleyseed Curlypaw Fidgetpaw Waspwhisker ( ) Cherrytail Nettlesplash Mintfur Egg (Not even in the book...) I guarantee I'm missing someone. This has got to be the bloodiest Warriors book ever. I love it. This is exactly how Warriors should be - no place is ever safe forever. Any cat can die at any time. There was real danger in this book, and the Erins weren't afraid to show it.

Warriors should be more like the walking dead, where they get you really attached to a character and then rip your heart out by killing them off. They need to make all the deaths unexpected and often mwhahaha

Also, Toad's death was really graphic... his leg got grabbed and I can only imagine the dogs tearing him apart like they did with Swiftpaw...

They killed so many cats in that book. I always expect someone to die at least once every two books, but not that many in one. But they still need to make more tragic deaths rather than, 'Oh they died? Oh well." I'm weird because I want to get attached and then have them die lol

I always knew that Twigpaw and Violetpaw were Hawkwing and Pebbleshine's kits.

The book was okay and I'm glad you enjoyed it. And other SkyClan cats that weren't in the book besides Egg were Creekfeather, Shrewtooth, Petalnose, and Rockshade.

The book was okay and I'm glad you enjoyed it. And other SkyClan cats that weren't in the book besides Egg were Creekfeather, Shrewtooth, Petalnose, and Rickshaws. Yeah, them too. I'm assuming Rickshaws is Rockshade? The SkyClan SEs have always been the best. Firestar's Quest is one of my favorite books in the series, and SkyClan's Destiny was solid.

But yes, it's supposed to say Rockshade. And same here. I've enjoyed the SkyClan Saga much more than any of the other books in the series besides the DotC arc and Crookedstar's Promise.

What i think about Hawkwing
I enjoyed Hawkwing's Journey, Hawkwing reminds me alot of Gray Wing. The only difference between the two is that he can't control his anger and he always feels guilty for everything. But he is still young. And i like his relationship with Pebbleshine. But i think he clung too much to Plumwillow at the end. He had lost his mate and unborn kits, and he is trying to compensate that by protecting Plumwillow and her kit's. And he even thinks of becoming Plumwillow's mate. He felt alone again when Sandynose returned, but Echosong's vision about his daughter Twigpaw gave him the strenght to go on.
What i think about Darktail
I like Darktail as a villian, he isn't the typical dark brown tabby tom and i think he is more evil than Tigerstar. He has absolutely no feelings when he kills a cat, it's normal for him. Darktail is alot like Scourge. But we still don't know why he attacked SkyClan. I think he had been planning this for a long time, and perhaps he kindled the fire where Duskpaw died? I like this kind of villian rather than a revengeful Mapleshade or a power hungry Tigerstar. And he has a clan name, Darktail. It could be possible that he is a SkyClan descendant. But he hardly knows anything about clan life. If think his mother named him Darktail just because he simply has a black tail. Or he named himself Darktail. But he could still have SkyClan blood without knowing it.
What i think about Pebbleshine
I think she is still alive, the only reason she left her kits is that she was captured by someone. Perhaps she was captured by the same twolegs who caught Waspwhsiker, Fidgetpaw and Birdwing. Or she was indeed killed.
What i think about Leafstar
She annoyed me when the cats settled around the park, because she didn't recognize that the lake at the park wasn't the same from the prophecy and argued with Echosong. Well, in the end she recognized that they have to leave the park. I feel sorry for Leafstar, she lost her mate, two kits and many clanmates. But i adore her strenght, everything she wants is to bring her remaining clanmates safely to the lake and keep SkyClan alive.
