so basically registration for spring 2017 for freshmen opened up today. there are four groups of last initials, and depending on your last initial you will have a certain time. my last initial was in the last group of initials, so i was among the last freshmen to register. i registered at my time (12:30) AT THE LITERAL TIME IT OPENED.
i literally copied my crn codes (basically the codes for SPECIFIC classes w specific professors and times) but two of my preferred classes were already full. i had to settle with 9am us history, but that's honestly not the worst part.
the worst part? i am supposed to take trig next semester and literally every single trig class was full within the minute that i was able register.
i'm gonna have a blast talking to my academic advisor about this! it's all fricking ridiculous and i am highkey pissed.
anyway, since i was only at 11 credit hours without the trig class, i decided to sign up for the online elementary french course (so i can be considered full time). i'm already almost fluent in french so it'll be a breeze lmao, and i'm hoping it's one of the online courses that you can do at your own pace so i can get it done in a weekend.
anyway, let's chat about school and how stressed we are, yeah!

Ooh, good luck with your classes! I had a similar thing happen to me in one of my classes. I needed my major switched so I could get into a class, and every time I asked the school they said they were taking care of it. And by time they 'took care of it', the class was full. Now that's my smallest lecture/class at 18 people (who obviously also weren't able to get into the course they needed). I don't know how your school does it, but I just kept checking for new sections to be opened up.

If it is that crucial, it sounds like something that they will almost certainly open up some more sections for. I hope you get into whatever you need. There's nothing worse than having to stress over classes you're not even in, yet.
