Well I find that my team evolves over time. I'm actually doing a playthrough of platinum right now with my team being:
Gyo the empoleon Kiba the garchomp Ora the lucario Yunikon the rapidash Supaiku the togekiss Hyoga the glaceon
Others that I've used Rozu the Roselia Mukudori the staraptor Raion the luxray Supun the kadabra
But I think you'll be good for right now. But I would try and get a ralts or a clefairy.

Well I highly suggest keeping moves effective against ghost types. Luxio will help with bite as dark is always effective. But make sure you have a decent electric move to use against drifblim. Beware of Aftermath.
Clefairy will help in that ghost type moves won't work on it. But the same happens with normal moves against ghost types, but clefairy can learn a variety of moves.
Ralts would be helpful if it knows a psychic type move. That'll help against haunter. Also, if you keep ralts around you can use it against the fighting gym and if you end up evolving it into gallade it'll help against the steel and ice gyms.

All i can say is you're gonna need an Ice type or Dragon Type. A good ground move like Earthquake is probably a good thing to think about too. I haven't played a D/P/P in a really long time so forgive me.

OK QUICK BUMP. I could catch myself a ralts! do you think that'd be a good choice? i beat the ghost gym and everyone is at least lv 22 now. DIAMOND THE GHASTLY DID THE LAST MOVE TO FINISH THE GHOST GYM LEADERS STUPID ANNOYING ACE.

psychic might be good for cynthia (but i've never even battled cynthia before because the elite four ALWAYS bodies all my pokemon and i never make it past the bug guy)

➳ idk if it gets these in platinum but bulk moves like giga drain and synthesis would be good for Leafeon. Leafon is one of the more bulky of the eeveelutions. It's always good to have a wall, not all just attackers
