ok well then
i love fantasy roleplays, and i really want to build a large one with detailed traditions, rules, species, creatures, hierarchies, the whole nine. i would also like to include a rebellion or a war.
people who help will be given the first chance of positions within the kingdom, i.e prince/princess, rebellion leader, etc.
my requirements for posts are semi-advanced. that means an ability to play different genders or roles, good grammar and description, and multiple three-dimensional characters. i do not want to set a line requirement, but i feel that if i have to, i will.
please post below if you are interested.

hi there! though I'm quite new here, I know a thing or two about creating threads that are attractive and that last, so hopefully I can help you out! I'd love to be a part of a great group roleplay.
just to start, do you have any ideas of your own at the moment? perhaps we could slowly begin to build off what you have so far.

Hi ^.^ I'm currently writing a fantasy novel and have spent around 4 years worldbuilding for it, so I can most DEFINITELY help with this!! I'd love to be involved with building a big group RP in this genre. Are there any initial ideas floating around from anyone?

wow i forgot all about this, screw me with my 'please be active' spiel @viridian nothing too specific, just general geographical ideas. i've always been interested at creating maps, though i'm no good with the actual artwork. I was thinking probably hilly region with a few mountains, maybe like the poconos, so that the terrain is interesting and provides lots of opportunities, but it really doesn't have to be. i also want to include different types of creatures, definitely elves, though i'm a little wary of vampires and werewolves. it might be interesting to have a species other than humans being the rulers for once, though again, these are mostly rough ideas. John 3:16 runes would be very interesting! i would love help planning out the rules of magic and its role in the rp, so as to not make magic overpowered and such. i find that a problem most of the time. Bloodrose wow, that's amazing! i love writing fantasy but more often than not i find i don't really have the patience for world-building, hence why i asked for help planning this out. most of what i told viridian is my rough ideas, nothing too solid yet. since this is your rp too do you guys have any ideas you want to throw out there as well?

If we're going for a more solid fantasy theme, how about including dragons as well? We could also have various breed of monsters which are sentient, sort of like demons? We can split the landmass up into multiple different regions/kingdoms, maybe around 10 in total, with two main large kingdoms, one perhaps being an usurper with allies, and the other large one being the 'benevolent', attempting to 'rescue' their world from the other. (Which could tie in the rebellion part)

i'm a bit unsure about dragons, as they're very powerful. I would be alright if they were mentioned and maybe encountered a few times rather than a major plot point, and I would really hate to see them reduced to being ridden. I'd like them to be enemies, if possible, or wise creatures with warrior-like tendencies. i like the idea of several kingdoms but only a few being the main ones, meaning there is possibility for negotiation meetings, a variety of characters with different views, etc. i do feel like having two main kingdoms might be a little bit too much to handle, although i do like another kingdom being a part of the rebellion, even if it isn't capitalized on. i was thinking more of an internal rebellion, maybe the other nation could be more of a place that helps the rebellion along? maybe... maybe elves, druids, dwarves, some creature perhaps, have been the ruling race in the kingdom, and have begun to hunt down humans, since they are going to war with the other nation, who's ruling race is humans? and some humans are remaining in the kingdom to fight and help refugees over the border to the other one, and they are the 'rebellion'. does that make any sense?

Ahh I would love to help! And of course be a member when it is ready :3
Yeah dragons I feel like should be antagonists if overpowered, y'feel? A war/rebellion is a good idea. Something to add conflict. Are you thinking of including magic? And if so would it be a more common skill or pretty rare/exclusive?

(Ah I see! Interesting points of view!!! Well if we're going for elves, dwarves etc why don't we make different breeds/species of them? That way we can have species divides with the ones wanting to protect the humans, and the ones wanting rid of them. Magic I would absolutely adore to be involved. we could have 'classes' of species and humans e.g. warrior, beast tamer, mage, priest, witch etc? I'd rather Dragons weren't antagonists as I can't stand the thought of anyone wanting to fight or kill them; so perhaps reclusive sentient beings- if we're involving magic, maybe the magic originated with the dragons, and they can be types of godly deities that people worship and mentor from)
