why does listening to sad/angsty music make me feel better????? like im still not feeling well but it's lessened?????? science (or rather psychology) explain It reflects your current mood, and usually the tone/lyrics provide an outlet of sympathy where you can compare your emotions to. Ex: I'm feeling angry, I listen to angry music to know that people are just as angry as I am and I'm not alone. Humans are a very social species and nothing separates us from society more than extreme emotions...
