~ Ah, you must be the new arrival. I welcome you to the Unsung Dojo. Most people refer to me as the Sir Corporal, or Sir Corpora Nishsiumi, though you may call me by my first name, Smith. ~
The Unsung Dojo is a place where boys and girls can grow up in peace and harmony, training in the ways of the ancient Nishisumi before the ladies of the family gained prominence in tankery. Although the Unsung Dojo does not participate in tankery itself, it does teach it's own martial arts, known as the way of the Arbiter. Once these kids graduate, they are stronger, capable of getting out of any situation, smarter than the average student.
Rules: Please do not break
1. Follow all forum rules and such
2. Same gender relationships are okay, provided both parties are okay with the ship. however A person has every right to refuse any kind of relationship, same gender or otherwise, for any reason.
3. Please, no flames or heated debates. I can understand disagreenments and concerns, but I don't want this to become a rant fest. ( In Roleplaying ranting is okay, though)
4. Be realistic. Try not to have something like jumping nine feet or surviving a sword slash to the neck coming at 90 MPH.
5. Don't be too over the top. It's okay to have trouble makers, but let's not have things like arson or mass murder.
(Note: We could eventually do a murder plot or arson incident later on.)
6. You can have a character who has a history with tankery, however please keep in mind that this roleplay won't necessarily be Tankery centered.)
Location:
The Unsung Dojo is located deep in the forest, where it is sheltered from the public eye. Nearby is the public waterfall, which powers the lighting systems and cooling systems during the summer. During the winder, those are powered by natural gas.
Dojo rules:
Follow the ancient Nishisumi and Arbiter's code.
Always show respect to your fellow students and for all property. While you don't have to bow or refer to your superiors by title, (Except judges), you must show common respect at all times.
Judges must always uphold both codes and be fair and impartial, even at the cost of the Dojo. (That's actually taught)
Nishisumi code:
The Nishisumi code consist of eight tenets, said to have originated from the first Nishisumi, known as Nishisumi Hyabusa. However, according to the legend, the modern Nishisumi bloodlines flowed from his sister's, not his own.
1. Live in peace, train for war.
2. Respect your superiors, but your men more.
3. If you must fight, fight to win, both inside and outside of competition.
4. Never leave a man behind.
5. Always fight against corruption.
6. Always encourage corruptions.
7. Refrain form attacking and accusing those you know are innocent.
8. Hear the manner before judging.
The Arbiter's code.
1. Defend as many as you can as safely as you can. Sacrificing one's self for another is acceptable, but sacrificing ten for one is not.
2. Never ever tell your opponents how you figgured something out. EX, if you countered their flanking attack, don't tell them it was because you had a spy. Also, this rule dosen't apply to helping another student get better)
3. Defense is acceptable. War is not.
4. If you must go to war, war to win.
5. Leave any known traitor to die.
6. Any authoritarian sports leader, IE School master, sports president, ect, who is against allowing one gender playing a particular sport, is a heretic in the eyes of the Arbiters. Though you must show respect for them in public, in private you may debate their worthiness.
7. Anyone who would abandon their own child outside of necessity is also a heretic in the eyes of the Arbiters.
