< this "lab" is a place for me to structure the random roleplay ideas that are rolling around freely in my head from time to time. if some of it makes no sense, ask me to clear it up, because it probably already makes sense to me! if you are kind enough to take time out of your day to read my rambling, please post your opinion on whatever idea it is. thanks! :^) >

This one is a little weird, but I've been thinking about this little project for a good while, now. Here it is:
It could really be in any setting whatsoever. Me being the history buff I am would prefer something to the effect of Feudal Japan, or Zhou thru Song China, Medieval Europe, etc. but modern is perfectly okay.
So, we all create our characters. We then shuffle them around, so that your character will be played by someone else. You obviously get to choose which one you want, though, and I will have some pre-made characters already if you don't like the options. There is no limit to how many characters one can have, but everyone gets at least one.
So, characters are chosen. I, and whatever "moderators" there may be, will present a dilemma for the characters, either individually or as a group, to solve. Once the problem is solved, another one will be introduced, all following a sort of story. The actions of every character involved will determine the outcome and contents of the next conflict.
So, Alek, how is this "choose your own path" kind of idea different from literally any other roleplay?
Because I, in cooperation with the character's CREATOR, will determine the fate of said character.
Say, a dragon comes and attacks the town, and A's character is chosen to go and fight it, who is controlled by B. B will control how the character fights, and A will control the dragon. If B slashes, A decides whether it hits.
The whole confrontation will be moderated by someone [to prevent godmodding] and rules for confrontation will be cleared up in the OP, so it's not as messy as it seems, I promise.
