What do you think of something like this:
There was once one large pride. There was no other predators around, because of how great this pride was. The pride had all of the hunting grounds, leaving any other predator with very little to feed them. Until one moon a very long time, the hyenas banded together to try and take over some of the pride lands. These hyenas demanded hunting grounds from the pride or face the wrath of the hyenas. The king of the pride, [insert name here] was a nice and caring leader. He did not want to see the death of any of his lions, so he agreed to give the hyenas a section of the land. Straggletooth (name can be changed. I though it sounded mean) did not like what the king did. He was able to get others in the pride to agree with him. The king had thought the danger had passed, and that is when the small group within the pride attacked m. Straggletooth believed that he could do a better job running the pride. He challenged the king, and lost the battle. The king was too kind to kill the lions who chose to go against them, and instead banished them. Those lions formed Stormpride, and swore vengeance on the Riverpride

Here is what I have added to the territories:
Stormpride-They live in a small forested area (for Africa) and they enjoy living in the shadows. Knowing they love it, their Pride ancestors send down lots of rain to bask in. Their two significant Landmarks are the Great Acacia, and the Silver Pool. The forest area has a swamp to the west of its territory that keeps that side safe. The east side of the territory has a thicker forested area, which has more of a rain forest feel. It is darker here and doesn't have much prey. On there is also a burnt mangrove tree to the side of the territory. This is where a lightning storm hit, when the ancestors were casted out from the large pride.
RiverPride-
These big cats love to bask in the warm sun, and snack on the easy prey that the river brings them. On the pride lands there are many lush grass that brings with it zebra and gazelle. The center of the territory is where the great baobab tree is. It is a very large and old tree. The tree signifies the vastness and history of the pride. Their two significant landmarks are the Great River (that they're named after) and King Rocks. The Great River has a waterfall that lies to the north of the territory. There is a plateau on the edge of the territory that protects that border.

Whew! I finally got the first post up on the actual RP. It's under 'WIP. Don't respond please~!' and Off topic roleplay.
Today is a good day :D Alrighty..... FWOIJFOIGAIOH Now that I got some frustration out, really, I think we are done with the basic stuff. :) If you'd like to, you can write up a quick summary of the plot. Other than that, I'm just adding the extra people like Nightshade and Acacia and making things look neat on the main page. |

Okay awesome. Do you have any ideas for a plot? WAHHAHAHAHA I just made the character list for the main page. But yeah, basically what I'm thinking, is that Quicksilver, as powerful as he is, is extremely upset with RiverPride, and blames them for the death of his mother. He wants to wipe them out, take over their territory and while doing it, drive them out like they drove him out. The only problem with that is that RiverPride is larger, and stronger than them. Also, as a side thing, StormPride keeps stealing prey from their grasslands. |
