I donated blood once my senior year of high school. Haven't done it since but despite being terrified at first, it really isn't as bad as people think.

When you can't donate blood due to an illness + medication for that illness

I want people to take my blood but I have tiny veins and need child sized needles so I don't know how often I'll be able to
I haven't officially started donating but a bunch of my blood has gone to ScienceTM
edit: I tried to donate once but they were only accepting drivers' licenses and would not accept other forms of identification and…I can't drive
and I was signed up to give blood at school but I got sick

you should feel proud, you saved up to 3 lives today
i tried donating blood a couple times, but got rejected twice lol. the first time i didn't weigh enough, the second time I was apparently running a fever (when i felt perfectly fine) and my pulse was 109, which is too fast. my body just doesnt want to help people i guess.

@33minutes How do I find out about my own blood type. I don't know what it is sadly and I feel like an ifiot Most people don't know their blood type. I only know im B- because of an experiment we did in human anatomy, and even that isn't entirely reliable. You don't have to know your blood type to donate. In fact, the easiest way that I know of is to donate, and then in a few weeks they'll send you a card with your blood type on it.
