(Note before we start: I wrote this note at the very end. Please don't get offended despite me using some strong language, because I was angry while writing this. Peace!)
What is wrong with people.
Now, as far as I remember, there was a lot of trends on The Cats. I remember Ivypool and Dovewing, then HJ came out, then Leafpool, and now it looks like Spottedleaf will be the next subject.
Now, I have nothing against anyone on this forum. However that doesn't mean I don't mind things some people on this section do.
This was in my head for a while now, and I believe now it's the right time to say it.
I hate when people say "this character is dumb and you shouldn't like them".
Like, there is a fine line between disagreeing with someone and being disrespectful. This special snowflake on this thread about Spottedleaf told a user that Spottedleaf shouldn't be their favorite character because she is "[oops! please keep language appropriate, thanks] up". That honestly just made me mad. As long as someone's action or opinion doesn't affect you, shut your mouth and go home (I'm not talking to anyone in particular). If the certain person sees this, don't get offended. I'm not talking only to you, but to everybody.
Quick little insert: If you can't sleep because someone is black or gay or has different opinion than you, it's not them personally affecting you. It's you getting triggered.
Kids, remember this: Not every single person is the flippin world has to view something the same way as you. I will use Spottedleaf as an example. Only because you and most other people think Spottedleaf is awful doesn't mean everyone you meet has to think the same? Newsflash? People have opinions. That's what this board is basically about. If you hate me for doing this thread, you're oversensitive. Quit reading this right now if you got offended.
There are always gonna be those special snowflakes that like a certain thing majority of the people dislike. You shouldn't bash someone for liking Baby (the song) just because most people don't. It's their opinion. It's pretty weird-[oops! please keep language appropriate, thanks], but it's still their opinion.
If you can't deal with it and you don't think you ever will, quit this forum - or at least avoid these discussions. The whole Spottedleaf thing is completely thing of an opinon, not like Millie neglecting Blossomfall and Bumblestripe. I'm perfectly aware that some interesting people out there still think that what she did was completely right, but honestly... Some things are just that. I might sound like contradicting myself, but honestly Spottedleaf just doesn't necessarily have to be clingy for some people. But if you think that all Millie did was completely right, you are mentally handicapped.
I think that's just it. Conclusion - learn to accept other people. Your opinion, no matter how big majority has it, isn't main.
