Welcome to the Pokémon League, the simulator where all Pokémon battles of the WCRF are held! Get ready, trainers; it is time for battle!
[about header here]
Here at the Pokémon League, Pokémon battles are carefully executed to simulate the official Pokémon as closely as possible. As a result, trainers must strategize and make careful decisions if they wish to win. Every month, there will be a bracket for trainers to compete in and earn points (more on this in the "Brackets" section). Trainers can also participate in free battles at any time with another person willing to play. Trainers will have the opportunity to choose their Pokémon, their items, and their moves (more in the "Pokémon Mechanics" section). The goal is to give players a unique yet accurate experience of Pokémon battling.

In order to keep this place fun and friendly, there are some rules we need to abide by. All of the below rules will be strictly enforced with no exceptions. This topic had a lot of work put into it and I do not want it to be deleted.
1. Follow all official WCRF rules. This should be a given. If you break these rules, you will be given a warning and asked to edit your post. If you fail to do this or you continue to break the rules, you will be reported.
2. Be kind and courteous to everyone. Now, this is a huge deal. Things will get competitive here. The important thing, though, is that it is strictly FRIENDLY COMPETITION. No bashing, name-calling, or anything of the sort. Be respectful to your opponents.
3. Do not be a sore loser. You are going to lose sometime. Maybe even over and over again. Do not get bitter or angry when you are defeated. Simply congratulate your opponent and use the experience to make your team and strategy even better. On the other hand, do not excessively gloat over victories.
4. No spamming. It's annoying and everyone hates it. This includes advertising. If your match is moving slowly, then patiently wait for your opponent to take their turn.
5. When chatting off-topic, use [], {}, or (). This will separate chat from battle. While off-topic chat is certainly allowed, please do not sway the entire thread. Limit your posts that don't contribute much to the thread.
6. Please limit your posting of pictures. It clutters up the thread and more than likely adds nothing to the thread. All graphics on these original posts are mine and mine alone. DO NOT STEAL THEM.
