So just going to jump right into this.
So going to be real with all of you, I am not just looking for an rp partner. Yes, roleplaying is fun-been doing it for years-but when the entire thread is just posts it kind of gets to me. I wanna be able to talk to you, whether it be 'our characters are stupid' or 'how are you today', I don't care. If you can't do that or are not interested in doing that, then I really will have a tough time rping with you. Some basics about me are:
* I love anime, and just as a warning from Monday to Wednesday I may or may not have a couple moments where I talk about some shows
* I love video games, so if I don't reply one day, I probably got stuck
* I am a sucker for grit, if you don't believe me, my favorite character to rp has the most messed up background in pretty much all his 'versions'
* I make versions of my characters, the most I have gotten was 9 versions for one character
* I haven't watched a lot of shows like supernatural, walking dead, ext. I don't mind if you talk about them, just know I probably won't be able to add all that much
* Uh....
On the other hand, I don't want five pages of just chat while I am waiting for you to reply with no explanation. I will give an explanation on why I haven't replied, just know that 9 times out of 10, it is going to be because of writer's block.
When it comes to writing replies, I expect at least 2-3 lines, just some context. Just know that some times I will be able to write books for one post while others I might end up with a short drabble. It really varies depending on my muse and if I am approaching/getting out of my most current writer's block.
All the basic roleplaying rules applies, every single one. You think it might be a rule on another thread, probably is one here. Seriously, most threads tend to have very similar rules.
I am pretty chill on doing most things (I am open to a few requests, though I would rather start on the plots I have put out already), if you want to do fandom I tend to take the world and shove my characters into their mandatory fun. There are a few things I will not do.
1) Normal high school, I don't want to go back
2) normal college, I don't want to go back
3) UN-realistic relationships. Let the relationships form on their own, they don't need to be forced. NOW forcing characters into a situation where they might form a relationship, sure, why not.
Oh, here is my scedule:
Weekdays:
5:15-about 9:30 central OR 7:00-about 9:30 central (PM)
Will sometimes do a quick reply in the morning (around 5:30 AM)
Weekends:
Boy, I have no life outside school. Probs gonna be here all day.
Enough about me though, the plots(?)!
*'s mean I am craving this particular rp
1) Hero of the story **Taken** (powers, modern with a twist)
The hero and villain story has always fascinated the general populous. They all cheer for the hero as they fight for truth and justice. No one wants the villain to win, but this begs the question. Why does a villain show up in the first place? No one is on their side, everyone wants them to lose and they have the live in constant fear of being found and thrown in jail. No one understands why a villain shows up in the first place, they just do.
So we have our setting, a normal city with it's good neighborhood and it's bad one. Broken down buildings and buildings that will live another hundred years. Everything is normal, and they even have their own Hero/villain. There are the people who are thankful for the hero and don't want to know anything more about them and then there are the ones who work day and night to find out their identities.
The villain in this case, loves the city, for almost everything it has. Just one problem. He hates how it is run, he can see the corruption that no one else can see, he can see the injustice. No part of the main system is working right, courts have convicted the wrong people, killers have gotten away, the Governor is corrupt. Yet no one sees it.
The hero sees the good in the city, the courts do give out correct verdicts, law-breakers are put where they belong, and despite what is going on, everyone is happy. They hate the villain for throwing everything in chaos every time he appears. Making statements, robbing, taking hostages, anything imaginable. They are set out on putting the villain behind bars.
Outside the hero and villain, the pair know each other. Not well, they just know of each others existence, them having lived in the same apartment complex for about three months now.
Now let's say something happens where the pair has to spend more time together, unaware of each others personas.
(basically me just loving these types of plots xD)
Villain: Jamie Ellison: Male, 20, Illusions and Energy absorption
Hero: Leonidas (Leo) Engels; 24, Male; Exceptional speed & Mastery of traditional weapons
2) "Wow, I'm impressed" * (any time period, any genre)
"You almost killed me! How is that impressive?"
"Almost, and it is impressive because it was supposed to kill you"
(really just a random thing I thought of and possibly could be made into a plot?)
3) It had been 12:30 for nearly an hour now.... * (powers, supernatural or fantasy, closer to modern)
Something must be going on
4) JOB: ton-o-money per week ** (SoL, modern)
Room and board provided. Food provided.
Mild acting experience necessary. Manners needed.
