II
Overview:
In the Woods is a Choose-Your-Own-Adventure style game. Everyone will start out similarly, but as the game progresses, the story will branch off from the others becoming unique and individual. The posts will flow the same way a roleplay would, but mine will always end with a choice your character must make Ex. As you treads softly across the forest floor, the sounds of chattering birds echoes from up ahead. However, your nose picks up the scent of rabbit the opposite direction, closer to the babbling brook. Though the scent of the larger prey is intoxicating, there has been some suspicious rogue activity near the southern border and the river. You begin to wonder if it’s worth the risk. Will you: Hunt birds in the area you are, or chase after the rabbit near the river? Certain choices will give you extra points that will benefit you in the future. If you were to choose to hunt the birds, you’d gain a point in your hunting proficiency (for every piece you catch determined by the scale below) which would increase your chances of catching prey in the future. As the story progresses, your skills will start limiting your choices. Ex. If you get trapped in a collapsed tunnel and your agility is under 10, then you will not be able to navigate the rubble to climb out on your own.
Objectives:
1. Grow your warrior from a young age and help them develop into complex characters who you can treasure forever 2. Help your character navigate through their treacherous story-line 3. Train your warrior from kit to leader and watch their storyline progress.

III
Hunting and Fighting:
When your cat goes on a hunting patrol they have a chance to catch up to four pieces of prey. Each piece of prey feeds a different amount of cats. Rabbits feed four cats, Squirrels, and chipmunks feed three cats, birds and fish feed two cats, and mice, voles, frogs, lizards, and shrews, only feed one cat. To determine if your warrior will catch an animal I will roll a die twenty. If the die ends up landing a 0-10 you miss the catch. If the number is 11-14 you will will make a messy catch and gain only be able to use half of normal amount of food. Anything between 15 and 18 is an average catch and you receive the normal amount. However, if the number is higher than 19, it is a perfect catch and you will be able to feed one more cat than what was listed above. When your cat is fighting another cat (or a predator like badgers or foxes) they follow a similar scaling. I will roll another die twenty in order to determine if your attack hits or misses. Anything under 10 misses your opponent completely. A number between 11 and 13 will bounce off doing little harm, while anything between 14 and 17 is a shallow cut. Anything above 18 is a critical hit. Each hit does it’s own amount of damage against an opponent (Bouncing off- 1, Shallow Cut- 3, Critical- 5) and the opposing cat will have a number of hit points depending on their ranking.
Your Cat's Stats:At the begging of the game your cats will be given a list of Stats and Skills, these will make your cat more successful during certain activities.
The Stats give you a set score in certain categories that will be useful in fights, and when convincing others. These can be trained up, and the higher a Stat is, the more powerful your cat becomes in that category.
The Skills Sets are different, instead being used as modifiers for different dice roles. You can also train these up and the number of training points you get will be automatically added to the roles in that certain area.
The available Stats are: Strength, Agility, Intelligence, Charisma, Wisdom, Endurance/Constitution, and Spirituality (only for Leaders and Medicine Cats)
The Available Skills Sets are: Hunting Proficiency, Fighting Proficiency, Tracking Proficiency, Speed, Swimming Proficiency, Climbing Proficiency, Interpreting Signs (only for Leaders and Medicine Cats), and Healing (only for Medicine Cats)

IV
Adventure Difficulty:
Simple A simple game will consist of basic everyday choices (where to hunt, what to hunt, etc.). Your cat will progress through the rankings with little to no difficult or chances of death. They will still be eligible for mating and mentoring, though the gameplay will be less developed than the other options.
Average An average game will consist mostly of everyday choices, however it will follow one major plot line. Your cat will progress through the rankings will a little resistance, but their chances of death are still fairly low. Though the gameplay is less enthralling than those of the higher levels, Average Difficulty is perfect for casual players who don't have as much time as others
Difficult A difficult game focuses less on everyday choices, instead following an intense plot. Your cat has a 50/50 shot at progressing through the ranks without difficultly, however the chances of dying are much higher than those who play the casual levels.
Extreme Extreme games are best suited for those who can be on daily, and it focuses on many high-tense interwoven plots. Your cat has only a slim chance of progressing through the ranks with no resistance and the chances of death are extremely high. This level is not for people who can only be on once or twice a week.
Milestones:
Apprentice When your cat becomes an apprentice they gain one raw point in each of their stats, and receive name ending in -paw as well as a mentor. Optional: If your cat chooses to train as a Medicine Cat, they gain the Healing Skill and may level it up alongside the other skills.
Medicine Cat If your cat chooses to train as a medicine cat, and fulfills that training, then they will receive their Medicine Cat Name (similar to that of a warrior). You also unlock the ability to communicate with StarClan which adds the Spirituality Stat and the interpreting signs skill to your list.
Warrior When your cat becomes a warrior they receive an extra three points in a stat of their choice, as well as an extra two bonus points to any one of their skills. They will also receive a warrior name and become available for mentoring and mating.
Senior Warrior When your cat becomes a senior warrior the receive an extra point in any stat or skill they choose. They will stop being eligible for mating, and if they haven’t mentored an apprentice yet, the probability of them getting one will increase by five.
Deputy If your cat becomes Deputy, they'll receive an extra two bonus points in any stat or skill of your choice. **IN ORDER TO BE DEPUTY YOU MUST HAVE TRAINED AT LEAST ONE APPRENTICE**
Leader If your cat becomes Leader, they'll receive nine lives and an extra two point (one that can be applied to a skill, the other that can be applied to a stat) to use in the area of your choice. You also unlock the ability to communicate with StarClan which adds the Spirituality Stat and the interpreting signs skill to your list.
Elder If your cat becomes an Elder they will retire to the elder's den where they can live out their lives in peace. You gain 2 bonus points in your wisdom and intelligence stats, but your strength and agility scores decrease by 3. You also lose all previous bonus on your skills with the exception of the Interpreting Signs skill.
StarClan Warrior When your cat joins StarClan they are out of play. You may restart the game with a new character.
Starters:
Kit (1 moon) You can start out at the beginning of your cat’s life, a kit only one moon old. If you choose this starter it will take your character longer to become an apprentice, but you can level up a few stats on your troublesome kit adventures.
Kit (3 moons) You can choose to start out your cat half-way through their kithood, therefore still being able to level up some stats, but losing the innocence your kit had when they were younger.
Kit (6 moons) Finally, you can choose to have your cat start out as a kit just about to become an apprentice. Though you don't get any chances to gain points as a kit, you can choose a stat that you can level up before your ceremony.

V
Rules: 1. Please avoid bringing drama here, and be nice to other participants 2. Your cat will age every couple of days depending on how active you are. However, please don't take a month hiatus without informing me. 3. Please try not to take control of the game. I will try to make it appealing to everyone, but all you do is tick me off when you try and force your characters to do something without my permission. 4. Don't argue with me, especially over dice roles. What happens happens, try finding a way for your character to overcome the problem instead of screeching at me. 5. Have fun!

You awake to find yourself curled up in your soft nursery nest, your siblings pressed on either side. Though you feel wide awake, the moon is still high in the night sky, and the a still sharp and cold. Outside you hear Dawnlight make her way around the safe camp walls, but other than that, it is completely silent. Do you: Stay in your nest and try to sleep, attempt to wake up one of your siblings, or silently slip out of the den for some fun night-time adventures?

(Naw that's fine.) As you prod your sister, a light brown she-cat with white paws, she opens one of her amber eyes. "What do you want Songkit?" she asks, her voice laced with dreariness. Do you: Tell her your bored and ask her to play, let her go back to sleep, or just simply run off, expecting her to follow.

Do you: Stay in camp and drum up mischief there, or head out into the marshlands?
