Bucky:
Bucky shot Alonya an unsure look. He wasn't sure that it was best for him to be out in public, never mind out in a tiny coffee shop, surrounded by people. He still didn't trust himself - after all, hadn't he been the winter soldier only hours before? - and he was sure that someone would comment on his arm if they saw the metal peeking beneath his sleeve. He could go with the whole tin man story, but he wasn't sure he'd be able to keep a straight face. If he had it his way, he'd probably run for it before they could ask anymore questions.

Nevertheless, Bucky followed after Alyona, placing his hands in his pockets as well. For now, the metal was concealed. Yet, one careless move and their cover might be blown. But... he'd done this before, many times, trying to act as a civilian. And he'd done it well. He hadn't been caught, and no one had ever said anything. He was an assassin. He was trained to go in quietly and get the job done. This shouldn't be a problem for him - no killing, no bad deeds, just some civilian attire...

Bucky stayed close by Alyona's side so that their arms were brushing, and he held his head down a bit so that he was looking out from beneath the maroon hat he was wearing. He watched all the people that they passed, feeling like he was being hunted and always on the lookout, but no one seemed to give them a second glance, aside from that gang, at which point Bucky, feeling Alyona move closer to him, gave her a reassuring smile: they try anything stupid, and I'll be here to protect you.

Finally, it seemed that they had approached what they had been after, and Bucky quickened his pace to match Alyona's. For such a small girl, she had quite the speed, and he silently smiled as he watched how excited she got over the coffee shop. He decided not to tell her that he wasn't much of a fan of coffee, just because he didn't want to ruin her spirits. He followed her to the door and then held it open for the Russian girl. "After you," he said, nodding at the door.

Zen looked up at the motion, eyebrows twitching in acceptance as her hand finally left her hair. The latter, smoothened from its previously spikey formation, looked less out-of-place. How she got it to sit without a comb or gel was another story, but Zen thought she did a good job. Besides, she wasn't here to impress anyone. Following Natasha silently, the goddess stuck her hands in her pockets and kept her head down, waiting until they finally hit the streets before she looked up. While she was not sure how long they would walk, she was sure of keeping a low profile. Besides, thieves did that for a living. "It's been ages since I strolled through the streets of DC, though." She offered, albeit quietly. "It's odd."

Alyona grinned at him, having been fully reassured through the whole walk that he wasn't bad at all. When he had opened up the door, she gave a big grin and easily slinked below his arm and into the lazy coffee shop. It was playing piano esc music, and it held a soft tune in it. Nothing too up-beat, but nothing too sad. It was just a perfect soothing tone that would make anyone relax

She came up to the cash register, peering up at the menu as her shades slowly tipped down to the tip of her nose. She had paused, then clasped her hands at the small of her back before giving Bucky a smile. Alyona knew what she wanted- in fact she could almost taste it. It was written in a cute font, and it was titled, Baby Grasshopper. The flavors? Well, it was made up of dark chocolate with mint and espresso. The only kind, aside from Dirty Chai, that she would actually have.

The cashier looked at them, the male silently watching before smiling kindly. "What can i get you two lovelies on this fine night?" He had asked, Alyona peeling her eyes away from the treats that she found herself staring at. Her cheeks warmed in the slightest while being called lovely, and she simply pushed her glasses up to keep them from falling.

"A baby Grasshopper please," she hummed as she watched him write it down- it was to go and it was hot. "2%... And no whip," she finished as she grinned.

"And for you sir?" He asked as he looked to Bucky curiously. Alyona simply smiled, the female patting herself down slowly and pulling out a dollar bill. She made sure her hand remained covered, knowing the man would get suspicious otherwise. Staring, her eyes immediately drifted to look up at the cashier, and then to Bucky.

The coffee shop was more warm than air conditioned, and the large garage door windows were opened on the sides to keep fresh air gently billowing through. People sat at small tables, and couples held hands and laughed as they spoke about their day. Something that Alyona never quite understood.

Bucky:
Bucky let the door close behind him as he followed Alyona into the coffee shop and walked to the register behind her. He couldn't really remember the last time he'd been in a coffee shop. It wasn't something he did often - or at all - and there hadn't been many coffee shops around in the 40s. He looked at the menu board suspended on the wall behind the cashier, interestingly staring at the different flavors and the colors of the changing screens.

At the voice of the man, Bucky returned his attention to him and adjusted his hat so that it covered his eyes more carefully. He peered at the cashier beneath the brim, sending him a death glare at being called "lovely". Then, he looked back at Alyona, finding it a bit funny how comfortable she was in the coffee shop. He, himself, felt like an oddball.

When she ordered a baby grasshopper, he was so confused that for a moment he didn't realize the man was asking him what he'd like to order. And, when he finally realized the man was speaking to him, he wasn't sure what he wanted, so he was silent for a moment, thinking. He didn't want coffee, and it probably would have looked weird to ask for water. But what kind of food did they have? Donuts, he read on the menu. Croissants. Cinnamon buns... Did they have plums? In the end, he just let out a sigh and resolved to try something new. "Iced coffee?" he said, shrugging a bit, hands in his pockets.

He took a step back, allowing Alyona the desk to pay and stared around the coffee shop. He hadn't noticed how many people were in there when they'd first arrived. But now the sight made him slightly uncomfortable and out of place. These people were happy and so oblivious to the battles being fought outside.

Wanda left after Natasha, the long back of her jacket briefly blowing out behind her. She somewhat nervously pushed her glasses up her nose again, still fairly jumpy, knowing that people still blamed her for that incident with Crossbones- she looked at her feet, dismissing the thought as she sped up slightly, still not passing the two she was with.

"Ooh, super-top-secret SHIELD stuff." Amber couldn't help the grin on her face, and even with the not-so-subtle wording, she still made sure no one besides Steve heard her. "Helping people?" She shot a look across the street. "For once I can relate to the 90-something year old Avenger standing next to me. But I get it. It's kinda hard, especially when you're undercover, face plastered everywhere, and most of us are technically fugitives..." She trailed off, and even for the somewhat more sensible words, she had her usual playful, sarcastic, or something inbetween tone.

it's physically impossible, like i could be scrolling down any website and just like see the edge of a picture of him and immediately start turning into a stereotypical fangirl, like gasping really loudly and aAAAA
and said friend isn't allowed to tell me to stop because she's the same way with mackenzie, she actually screamed when little moon came out ))

Bucky:
Hands now a bit shaky, Bucky grabbed his iced coffee, feeling a familiar chill as it ran up his arm. He followed after Alyona, staring a bit absently down at the dark drink. He'd never had iced coffee before, and he wondered if it would be something he'd remotely like. He brought the straw to his lips and took a sip. It was bitter and cold and sent a chill down his body. Yup. He probably wouldn't get iced coffee again. But, he was going to finish this one; maybe it'd grow on him. He stuffed his metal hand into his pocket, while the other hand held the coffee. He could feel himself calming now that they were moving again. "Where do you think the others are?" he asked her, swallowing another sip. And then, making an odd face, he said, "What are you drinking...? A grasshopper...?"

Cap:
Steve nodded, sighing. "Well, even if we are undercover, at least we still can help. As long as we are like this and not behind bars like the government wants, we are still the heroes that protect the people. I don't care what the government says... We are here to help, to save lives..." His voice grew quieter and he shook his head to himself.

(ikr? It makes me sad when he's sad, though. Because he's such a great person, and he's so loved, and he's helped a lot of people through their dark times... and I wish he knew that<3

Alyona hummed softly as they walked, happily sipping her coffee with her lid off as to cool the steaming cup down. Her eyes slowly peaked up at him as he spoke, her small tongue swiping over her lips to wipe away the chocolate liquid that collected there. A soft but amused giggle escaped her throat, listening to his confused question. Slowly holding it out, she stopped in her tracks. "Here, this is more sweet," she stated. "But its made of dark chocolate and mint. Its called a baby grasshopper, and you cant really taste the coffee," she explained before tilting her head. "Nat said we would all group together at the hotel. Said that we were gonna have some family fun when we arrive tonight. She also said that we should probably get you ready.." her eyes nervously shifted to a few that lazily strolled down the sidewalk. "For the play tomorrow."

Natasha

The female walked at a casual pace, taking a glance behind her at Zen and Wanda. Her lips pursed, giving a small smile. She was going to answer the goddess' comment, however she opted not to sound suspicious. "You two havin fun? We're on our way to see Steve and his lil sister and meet up with Steve's cousin James and his fiancé." She explained, making it seem as if it were more of a casual conversation- which spared the people that had been looking in their direction to relax and more at ease as they did their own thing. "You do realize those four are really only here for such a rare time," she sighed in false woes, "I'm honestly surprised they would all make time to see us~" she cooed
