Coulson tapped the back of his hand several times, then brought it up to his face.
Grey was sitting in a tree, watching a pair of blue jays, when his phone rang. Startled, the jays flew off. He pulled his phone out.
"Hey, Coulson. Are you calling me on the hand?"
"Yep."
"That hand is so damn cool."
"I know."
"So, why'd you call?"
"I need you to come in."
"Aw, Coulson, I was going to go hunting with ICERs tomorrow."
"Regardless..."
"Why?"
"I don't want to say it over the phone if I don't have to, but you'll be glad you did. Meet us in the air."
"Okay. You're the boss, I guess." Grey hung up and clambered down, out of the tree. Having wings generally meant he didn't bother with descending fifty feet by hand, but he really liked the shirt he was wearing. He began to jog back towards the cabin. He grabbed the things he'd left laying around (mostly clothes) and put them in his bag. Grey put his hand to his ear and said "Huginn, Muninn, come." As he left the cabin and walked towards the airstrip a couple hundred feet away, two ravens swept down and landed on his shoulders. Reaching the strip, he walked into the belly of a Quinjet. Grey set his bags down as Huginn and Muninn leaped off and flew ahead, landing on the copilot's seat. Grey pulled on a flight suit. Zipping it up, he sat in the left seat of the jet. He put on his matte black flight helmet, strapped on an oxygen mask, then slid the visor down. He ran through the start-up checklist, then raised the cargo ramp and started up the engines. Grey flicked a switch at the base of his helmet, and his HUD flickered to life. He waited a few seconds for both the engines and the rotors in the wings to spool up, then raised the collective and gently lifted the jet off of the ground. As the Quinjet rose above the trees, he retracted the gear and activated the retroreflector panels, then turned to the right and pushed the throttles forwards, and the nearly-invisible jet shot off towards the Zephyr, whose position was marked by a chevron on the compass display. Grey tapped the chevron and set an intercept course, then turned on the autopilot. He put the Interstellar album on before leaning back and watching the forest pass by below.

Alright, i read through everything and I approve it all. And i apologize I havent been on in over a month. Honestly, swimming and school has taken my focus and homework as well. So that has become top priority for the past month, and literally, its beginning to simmer down. Its taper week(s) in swim, so i should be able to be on a bit more, but no promises.  ill make a 'new' reply to everyone now- especially after ive explained my situation |

As for everything that has been happening at the base of operations- it wasn't exciting. Natasha had merely replied to Logan's remarks by saying that he possibly could be right. Her green-brown orbs had shifted, staring out at the woods of the former Indian Preservation and giving a low sigh through her nose. She knew Alyona could easily hold up her brother in a fight.
The duo were a perfect balance of agility, endurance, strength, and speed. Where Borya was more bulky and made for the weight lifting and slower movements, Alyona was made for the faster, snappier techniques. To be honest, Natasha believed Alyona could overtake her brother if she really beat her past. However, things just couldnt work that way now could they?
Her thoughts were pulled away from the front of her mind to look at Clint. His gaze was dropped, and a heavy sigh settled from his chest. However, his lips were pursed into a thin line and brows harshly furrowed.
"What if she caves into the very thing she didnt want to Nat?" He suddenly questioned.
"Thats for her to decide. What she trained with Xavier for is for her to recognize and realize she's in absolute control. If she decides she wants to become like her brother then thats what she decided to have control of," Natasha responded a bit too coldly.
Clint looked at her then. "Shes just a kid compared to us. Out of us- especially Bucky- you know what she went through. You know why her brother was hunting her down and you know her fears like the back of your hand," the archer was hissing out before he relaxed. "I just... I don't want to lose hope in someone that i root for everyday- deep down."
Natasha looked back to the forest, giving a little nod. "If anything Clint, I have a feeling she was the one who over powered him- and youre right.... Just like me, she seems to know everything about herself, but more importantly Borya. She'll use him to her advantages."
That said, the assassins turned around on tbe porch, and awaited for Steve and Bucky.
Government. The Red Skull. Everything was horrible.
Alyona hadn't been exactly treated right, and neither had her brother. But then again, how would they? Borya betrayed SHIELD, and Johann. It was only natural he was treated as such a way. So when his figure was laid out to the side and away from B as a bloody pulp... it was natural to find Alyona in almost the same state.
Except- she was just less bruised and more cut than anything. She did have a nasty bruise on the top of her thigh from where one of Bonhwa's bots hit her with a baton. But either way... her minty hues were half lidded, and her body felt like led. She was laying on her stomach, head turned and tiredly looking out at her brother that laid still as a floor board. Borya wouldn't say a thing about the group. He even bit down in the inside of his mouth to prevent such a thing. So, when he returned to her in that state and she removed to be in the same condition-
She simply mimicked his ways. Aside from the fact she used their emotions to fire back at them. Empathy, she was realizing, was a blessing and a curse.

Steve walked back to the porch with Bucky at his side to see that the group was still conversing in the same spot. When the screen door shut behind them, he dropped his bag by his feet and faced the others. "I know I should have asked you guys before making the call, but I know that we can't do this alone. I just got off the phone with some people from S.H.I.E.L.D - people we can trust - and they're on their way to pick us up and take us where we need to go. They're going off book, just like we are." He crossed his arms and then fixed his eyes on the black widow. "Nat, did you guys figure out anything else?"
Bucky:
Bucky stood by Steve's side, silently like a bodyguard. His eyes scanned everyone as Steve talked, as if threatening anyone to challenge his friend. But, in truth, he was just standing by his friend like he always had. If anyone did happen to challenge him, he knew Steve could handle it. He crossed his arms just as Steve had done, waiting for the general consensus.
Logan:
Logan made a low growling noise under his breath. He wanted to save Alyona and the others and figure out what was going on, but he also liked to work alone. He didn't like to depend on other people nor did he like to trust them or get too attached. Bad things always happened the moment he started to feel like he belonged anywhere. But he had worked with the X-Men before and he had been with a team; he'd do it if he had to... to save one of his own.

Honestly its great to be back. I love to rp and I honestly miss it. but it is, but I put so much stress on myself that last week I broke down during pre-calc class. :| and you should totally make rp profiles!! And I haven't heard of arrested development, I'm sorry hun! Honestly I'm ready at any time! and at least 19 notifications haha |
