Payton "Grey" Grill

Grey is, first and foremost, a fighter pilot, and states that the aircraft has not been built that he cannot fly. He is 5'9" and 27 years old, with medium length dirty blond hair. He generally wears an airplane T-shirt with jeans, silver-mirrored aviators, black combat boots, and a black Breitling watch on his right wrist. He is often sarcastic, but is usually so deadpan that it can be hard to tell. He has a low genius-level IQ, and has always been interested in STEM. He attended college at the United States Naval Academy for the sole purpose of flying off of aircraft carriers. He was recruited by S.H.I.E.L.D. out of flight school, and flew off of helicarriers for several years, before the Hydra uprising, when his wingman and best friend was killed in a dogfight. Before that, he had really just been in it because there was nothing more fun than flying an F-35 off of a flying aircraft carrier. After S.H.I.E.L.D. fell, however, Grey was pissed. He became a field agent, and started sticking up for the little guy more. He had always had a strong sense of right and wrong; he just had never really tried to change things for the better beforehand. This was further reinforced when he discovered he was an Inhuman. Grey has a jet-black pair of wings, which can be retracted when needed, so he is usually indistinguishable from a normal human. His bones and feathers are reinforced with vibranium, although they're still mostly bone and/or keratin. When needed, he can release individual feathers, and in the past has occasionally used one as a throwing knife. His suit is much like Daisy's, but with dark red highlights instead of dark yellow, and the outline of an F-117 on his left arm, the result of that one time he helped out Daisy when she was being a vigilante and the newspapers gave him what is, in his opinion, the best possible superhero name: Nighthawk, also the name of the F-117. It's also stealth, so the only part of him that can be picked up on radar is his head. He has matte black bracers and greaves, which have a couple neat features: Touchscreens, a garrote wire, a normal cable, and hidden throwing knives. The aspect of his suit he likes the most is his silver-mirrored aviators, which come with a built-in heads-up-display. On assault missions, he wears a matte black fighter pilot helmet instead, since they're bulletproof and slightly more intimidating. He has never told anybody how he got his callsign, other than that it was given to him by the friend who was shot down in the Hydra uprising, but the story behind a fighter pilot's callsign is almost always embarrassing. He has a pair of pet ravens, named Huginn and Muninn that can do simple tasks, much like trained dogs. Despite sharing the same names as Odin's ravens, they're named after the pair of ravens from Kill Decision, which is where he got the idea from.
