At first, she had looked up at Bucky and met his gaze. Even when his finger twitched at the ringing echo of the gun filled her ears, she felt a bit dazed. Her muscles twitched, urging her to catch the falling form but Steve was the one to catch her. Her eyes sprung with tears, fingernails scratching at the blonde's arms as she begged for him to let go. The warm iron pooled out, and forever frozen on his face was that warm smile she always wanted.
Alyona was too exhausted to continue her wriggling. In the end, she collapsed against Steve and let her tired tears flow. She was the last Aliyev of the family, and ultimately... she hated it. Her head dropped onto his chest, hiccuping lightly as the salty drops stung a couple open cuts in the process. She didnt even know how to respond at the moment, except gently curl her fingers into the white shirt and heave a shuddering breath.
It felt like eternity for the moment, but she finally swallowed a lump of bile down. Mixed emotions were all she could feel, but one was certain... she felt a weight off her shoulders. Looking to Bucky, she slowly held out a hand, hopefully to hide in his arms or to show she forgave him.
Either one worked.
Natasha
Natasha was on her way back up when she heard the gunfire, eyes wide as she looked to Amber. The look seemed to say all before she even partred her lips to speak, asking quietly, "Bucky finally did it huh?" Giving a small sigh, her eyes drifted down to the hotel and gave a soft sigh. "Well... that's a relief."

Steve
When the gunshot went off, he had instinctively turned away, and then his arms had found their way around Alyona. He knew that she was hurting and that she had wanted to be by her brother, even as he fell, but Steve felt that he couldn't let her go. Her brother was already dead, and there was nothing she could do. He gave her arms gentle rubs and brushed his hands through her hair as she finally gave up fight and collapsed into him.
"I know you still loved him," he said quietly into her hair. "But you're finally safe..."
Bucky
The sound of the gunshot pierced the air, and Bucky froze in his place, breathing heavy as he watched the body of Borya collapse to the floor of the roof. The man's smile stayed on his face as he fell, but it was clear that the bullet had killed him. Blood poured from his wound and he did not stir. For a few moments, Bucky could hear nothing but the echoes of the gunshot, his own breathing, and his beating heart, but then the world around him came into focus once more. He could hear Steve muttering something, and then Alyona's sobbing.
He lowered the gun to his side, wiped his hair out of his eyes, and then turned to Steve and Alyona. Steve was looking at Alyona with worry, and Alyona... she was looking at him. When their eyes met, he frowned and he dropped the gun with a clatter to the roof. He silently willed her to accept what he had done and not hate him. I did it for you, he wanted to tell her. I hope I was not wrong to act.
Bucky slowly began to walk towards his friends, his face a mask to hide his emotions, and then he was standing before them. In the next moment, Steve caught his eye, and he let his hands fall from Alyona. Bucky then opened his arms to the girl, hoping that she'd forgive him. "I'm sorry, Alyona," he said. But he wasn't sorry for killing Borya - he was a monster - he was that she had lost her brother.

Just the few moments spent away from the action in the middle seemed to have calmed Amber down, even if it wasn't noticeable before. She would have usually been cheering that a fight was over; but this was different. Everything made it different, and even she was able to tell. She fluttered back down to the roof, shifting back into herself a foot or two off of the ground, making sure not to stumble. She landed next to Natasha, turning to look at her.
"I'm going back to our room. I'll stay there and brief Wanda before you all get back." She sighed, silently slipping back over the edge of the roof, quickly making her way back down the fire escape and climbing back through a window, trying to not draw any attention to herself. As she turned down their hallway, she paused, blinking a few times, mind suddenly fuzzy, before pushing herself forward and to the door. Wanda opened the door, dragging Amber into the room before shutting it again.
"I was making sure no one came this way." Wanda said under her breath, returning her focus to the door. "Sorry. What happened?"

Hahaha At least we know the buckyona ship wont sink yet haha jk borya would find a way to sink it even from his grave--- Raintalonhisss - ill try to respond in a moment hun! ---- AlyonaIt felt so wrong to be happy she wasn't under her brother's control. But yet- it didn't feel right when Borya was dead. Her eyes drifted up to Steve when he slowly let go, afraid to move from him until Bucky opened up his arms. She slowly moved over, arms wrapping around his frame and face buried into his broad chest. Alyona couldnt shed tears anymore. That was such a childish thing. Instead, her head tilted, fingers gently curling into his black vest as she took in a soft breath. "If you hadn't done that we know he would've done it to me," she answered quietly. Her eyes finally glassed over, one hand daring to let Bucky go to smear away any lingering teardrops. NatashaNatasha looked at Amber. She knew the teen was acting different than the times they would defeat their enemy. Giving her shoulder a gentle squeeze, she nodded then. "Alright. Im sure the others would be more than glad to turn in. We'll be down in a bit." Watching her go, she made sure Amber went into the building safely before climbing the last few steps onto the roof. She didnt look at the slumped frame, instead making her way to the two super soldiers and Alyona. "Hey... we still got a big bucket of mint chocolate chip ice cream down in the room. We cant let that go to waste by letting you guys to hug the whole time up here," the red head offered kindly, giving a soft smile as Alyona tilted her head and gave a little giggle to Natasha. "That or ill eat it. But i think we all know you'd fight for that ice cream. Id rather not get my butt kicked," she mused as her arms crossed over her chest and her eyes glinted. "That- and we gor to clean up two soldiers." |

Sorry i havent replied at all until recently.
1) life and my schedule got super busy
2) i had gone on vacation actually and hung out with some of my friends
3) i got back on friday, and ive been pretty much busy since then

Blazkowicz blinked at her. For a moment, he thought of just stepping around her and leaving her be, but something inside him said otherwise. He crouched slightly, holding out a gloved palm and seemed to silently offer her help up. Once she was up, he simply shrugged. "Its fine. I wasn't looking where I was going," he answered gruffly then, his eyes shifting away to take a quick sweep of the area and his eyes tiredly turned back down to her. He didn't say much to begin with, so he found himself in a semi-awkward conversation with a young female. His short blonde hair was messed up in the wind, and his deep blue hues slowly bore down into her frame- as if he was staring into her soul- and his scars were now predominant along his temple and the side of his head.

ah thanks! my friend (who is a legit 24 hrs younger than me), is like 6'5" so he was constantly taking my ipod and taking pictures. When I was asleep once he took my ipod and snapped a pic of me sleeping
and he's super cuddly and warm I wont lie

Melody stared rather uncomfortably at the stranger. His facial scars probably came from combat and made her a bit uncomfortable but... well, that might not be his fault...
Anyway, he seemed to be acting nicely enough, if a bit weird and quiet. "Hi," she said politely, (and for the second or third time now) "Um... What's your name?"
oh, yeah, great job Melody. Introduce yourself like a six-year-old. "Hi, what's your name? Let's brush each others hair and talk about boys." She bit her lip, trying not to laugh at her inner narrative. Shut up shut up shut up keep a straight face.
