Of all of the villains it's Mapleshade because she has a more interesting motivation than "I want all of the power and I'm going to kill anyone who tries to stop me."
Overall, I think my favorite is probably Squirrelflight. I liked her personality, partially because she's somewhat like me. She was an interesting character in TNP, and her dynamic with Brambleclaw was great. I thought her whole "spiritual connection with Leafpool" was an interesting detail to have during the journey, and it helped flesh out their relationship in a way. Her involvement in the three was really interesting. I liked how she put her reputation at stake for Leafpool, and how her life was affected afterwards.
