Tigerstar is my absolute favorite. Every book needs a good antagonist and Tigerstar is that and more. I find his tricks impressive and clever and (call me evil) but I thought it was funny when cats fell for his traps. Tigerstar is intimidating as well as commanding. I can really see his view on certain points. I don't think Tigerstar is a villain, I just think his points are misunderstood. When he says 'no half clan cats' I can see where he gets that from because cats shouldn't have mates in other clan's. Tigerstar isn't evil, he just wants to make the Clans the best they can be by following the rules set for them. Now killing half clan cats was a bit overboard, but someone could easily suggest banishing them instead. If Tigerstar really wanted, leave them a scar or two to think about. It's just how you approach matters with the characters. It you only attempt to stop them with no exceptions, they are going to try to do the same with you. They need to feel like their ideas are heard and acknowledged. Tigerstar was only trying to help his Clan and prove to them that even though his father turned into a kittypet, he can bring ThunderClan to the best it can be. So I blame Firestar for all the deaths lol.

I have to say that my two favorite characters are Millie(Please don't kill me) and Brambleberry.
I think Millie is awesome because of how she was there for Greystripe when he was taken by twolegs. She tried to understand how he felt and wanted to help him. Millie got Greystripe through the tough times, and that was kind of her. Yes, I understand that whole thing with Briarlight's accident and her "betraying" Blossomfall. I tried to put myself in Millie's shoes. I understand she was mean to Blossomfall, but she was just caring for Briarlight. I honestly don't know why people out there are saying Millie hates Blossomfall. Millie would never be so needlelessly cruel. She will never hate Blossomfall or Bumblestripe as long as she lives. Kate actually confirmed that Millie still loves Blossomfall and Bumblestripe, and wishes that Briarlight's accident hadn't happened, so she could spend more time with her two other kits. I really have just always thought of Millie as a kind, caring, likable character.
I personally think Brambleberry is extremely likable too. She was kind, wise, caring, and was good at being a medicine cat. Even when Crookedstar was being trained by Mapleshade, she kept quiet and supported him almost his whole life. When he was mad at Mapleshade for killing off hos family, Brambleberry was always there for him. Also, when Mudfur wanted to become a medicine cat apprentice, she didn't protest. Although Mudfur was quite old at the time, Brambleberry understood that he couldn't bare to see the blood of his enemies on the ground like this. Brambleberry just always seemed like a wonderful character to me.

About Brambleberry, you make excellent points, but she also had trouble trusting Crookedstar because she saw him training with Mapleshade, who actually never killed his family otherwise the Great Battle would've been way easier for the Dark Forest if they really had that much power. Mapleshade just made him believe that she was responsible.

Bluestar was always one of my favorites because I like powerful female characters, and despite all that happened to her, she was able to hold herself together up until the very end (and even then, didn't really endanger others, unlike, say, Onestar).
I'm also a fan of Jayfeather, and since I like villainous characters, Needletail and Mapleshade (although I didn't like her novella).
Ravenpaw was also interesting to read about, and his death was also both fitting and heartbreaking... Also, I like to think that someone performed the dying apprentice ceremony and gave him his warrior name anyway (he just refused to take it to Starclan). He definitely deserved it, considering all that's happened to him…
