I've got a bit of an idea. So I think I speak the truth when I say that the majority of us were disappointed with OOTS. The storylines were a mess, the final battle was a disappointment, and the arc contained a lot of pointless filler (the Cinderheart conflict, the unnecessarily long trip to the mountains, the random reappearance of Sol, etc.). Not to mention the mess that BrS was.
What if a few of us get together and rewrite the arc? I know it's been done before, but I think a The Cats writing project would be cool. Plus, just because OOTS rewrites have been done before doesn't mean they can't be done again.
I'd like to get 3-4 other writers in on this. Basically, the requirements would be:
- Active on the WCRPF.
- Able to write at least 2,000 words to make a chapter, and do so with minimal grammatical errors and within a decent timeframe, likely two weeks.
- Be able to work on a team (obvious one since this is a collaboration).
- Be familiar with OOTS and its characters beyond what the wiki says.
One of us would make an FFN account that we would all share. The story would be posted on that account, and it would be available through a link on here.
