I've actually done it with some of my past roleplays, take Shadeclan for example. I recently closed it for off topic reasons and I used topic mods in that. I would be open to being a topic mod for the darkforest plot, or anything related

Here are a couple of my rules, that I think should apply to the role-players and their Oc's ;
« Attention dragging should be limited. There are a million things I could say about this topic, however it would take a while to type. I think I'm not just speaking on my behalf, but a lot of people get irritated with the fact that some role-players choose to make their cat a "god" and choose to drag attention from other role-players. Whether they choose for their cat to be an underdog or a hero. I think if we see this kind of action, we should consider it a warning and if it happens more than a few times, the cat (not the role-player) should be taken out of the role-play.
« Post length should matter, considering how active we are going to want this role-play. I'm not suggesting that people should type more than a few sentences, but it is appreciated when there is more to read than just a few sentences. It also adds some muse to the role-play.
« "People Talk" Should be limited. By people talk, I mean that often times, some role-players like to use words that cat's had often not heard of, especially if it's like the words, "car, human, or house." This includes swear words such as idiot or damn. We should provide this role-play with a guide to terms used in the books so role-players have a reference.
« Curable Cats. I don't appreciate it when some medicine cat role-players create their medicine cat's invincible to sickness or all powerful, being able to cure any disease the cat has. I think with the permission of the sick cat's role-player, the medicine cat's role-player can decide whether or not it's cat can heal the sick cat.

❀ If joiners wish to have their characters have disabilities they should be realistic and also role-play their character in a respectful manor.
❀ Members need permission for another members to have their characters mates and if they say no don't pester them.

Hmm. Seems okay to me, I think.

I like the idea of adding a literacy/post length requirement, if there isn't one already. So yes.

That would help keep it realistic to Warriors. I don't know if it's necessary to enforce, but it would help with the realism!

In another RP I was in, they had a REALLY cool system where they would leave it up to fate, basically, to see if a cat would live or die once infected with a potentially deadly illness or severely wounded. They would roll dice, and numbers 1-3 would mean the cat would live, numbers 4-6 would mean the cat would die. You would have a set amount of time to RP out the death or it'd happen instantly or whatever you want. Something like that might be fun to consider!

Yes, definitely. I feel like if disabilities were allowed, they should be pretty limited and closely monitored. Like, maybe the admin of the Clan they're applying to as well as Rain would have to approve, and then it'd be more likely to be accepted if the RPer already had other characters? Just so their RP style could be known already, and they'd be a familiar face to maybe further ensure respectability.

Yes. I think that was briefly mentioned before in what Rain suggested too? Yeah.

The lowest I recommend is three to five sentences.
As for the Warriors speech, I personally don't find anything wrong with darn/damn. Something like that. Obviously any cursing will still have to follow the forum rules, but in the past, I have used darn in place of mouse-dung so it isn't quite repetitive. But I do agree that car and human should be twoleg/upwalkers/housefolk and cars be monsters. As for house, I think that should only reference a twoleg's home because of them knowing what housefolk is.
I honestly forgot to include that! I have some generator things where they roll a dice and flip a coin. This can be used to determine if a cat dies in battle, gets injured, the severity of the injury, and maybe even kits. As for mutations and disabilities, I think they need to be requested and it has to be possible. So out of every three litters of four, one kit may have a mutation or disability. However that disability must be portrayed accurately as stated before. Obviously blind and deaf will be more common, but they still fall under these rules. As for a disability like what I have, research needs to be conducted, so I suggested we ask them to tell us about it while researching it ourselves.
I think I'm going to redo the admin rules so they go into depth about some of the powers each person of the "crew" has. It sounds like Rainy (to make this less complicated, just call me Leaf. xD) iss making me the big head person. I usually don't run things that way because I find it unfair as well as difficult to manage things if I happen to vanish for something. I do guarantee we'll talk about that, and I'm also open for suggestions.
Question: Should we have it state in the joining form section that they do not have to join cisgender cats? I assumed that since this is LBGTQ+, people will assume it's alright.] |

[ ✎ I feel like we should make a "relations" section in the rules detailing the restrictions and options for relationships of all kinds. I also feel like this may help with bringing us closer to the first arc where cats weren't always loyal to their mates as some became mates just to reproduce.
Edit: I also think this would create opportunities for people to have their cats who prefer to same gender to have kits, but we'd need to really work out a system to fix any kinks and anything odd.] |

If you state LGBT+ is acceptable, that would mean trans characters as well, so clarifying wouldn't be necessary imo. If you were gonna clarify, I would suggest clarifying each letter. Like in parenthesis, say (lesbian, gay, bi, trans, etc.)
I think a relationships section is a good idea! Especially with the LGBT character thing, yes. That'd be really nice!
