Maybe you could help us discuss rules? Or maybe tell us some of your ideas for subplots or the plot?

Maybe some cats have relationships with the rogues/cats on 'Minnow's side? That could cause some drama when the coup occurs and 'Minnow' is overthrown and her followers (for the most part) are driven out, scattered, or separated from the newly restored Clans?

Actually, I was thinking something similar to happen to one of my characters, except she'd end up pregnant when 'Minnow' was overthrown...

➥ I think for continuity plot wise overall, we make up a character to fill a spot if someone leaves and never comes back or just announce them dead. We'd change the name and maybe appearance depending on if it's just a typical "brown tabby" thing. That way we aren't just kinda hopping about and erasing things that help character development. I also think that if they played a major part in the plot, they're announced missing a week after they're gone. Of course that'll match this plot and we can always adjust it when the plot changes.

So if someone disappears, their characters are replaced with other characters? I'm not sure I fully understand. Do the new characters fill the roles of the old ones? How does it help keep things involving character development?
The rest of it I understand and think is a really good idea. Honestly I probably wouldn't have considered making an official rule on replacing people until after it was necessary, whoops. Super good foresight!

➥ For becoming a warrior, we should have a mandatory two to three training sessions. I feel like they're ignored a lot or done once. I don't think we should be picky about it. Making them do hunting all three, fighting all three, or a mix is fine. It just has to be a training session and can be a group session. I also really want us to bring back the tradition of warriors going to the Moonstone before they become warriors or right after. They usually get a glimpse of their destiny, so yeah. I think it'd be nice and maybe make us slightly different than the others.

I think that's a pretty cool idea as well. Keep them apprentices for an appropriate amount of time and familiarize the role players with some of the elements of traditional Warriors hunting and fighting things. I also really enjoy the Moonstone idea! Why did you choose three training sessions, by the way? And also, how does time progress in the RP? Does 1 real life day count as one RP day?

➥ I love organization. I took the time to organize this post, so I think that obviously shows something. For plots, we should try to discuss a time of when things will happen. Rainy is a member of a SkyClan I'm running and while it wasn't as organized as I wish, we kind of agreed on a date for her queen to kit. How I usually have it is that main plot events take priority save for Gatherings, they come first unless it's a plot event one Clan does not come. To simplify Gatherings > Main plots events > Sub Clan plots > small sub plots (kitting).

Oh, that makes sense. And probably makes my question about the movement of time irrelevant xD

➥ This will sound harsh, but I think if anyone drops constant hints about wanting to be deputy or has it in their form, they shouldn't get it at all. It's annoying and it feels like they're only there to gain a high position by kissing tush. I also think that if they jump in to play hero and nothing else, they get booted. I've had some bad experiences and that's shaped my rules if no one has noticed.

That makes sense if it's like out of character hinting. RPing a Warrior who wants to be deputy seems pretty realistic to me. Even kits say they're going to be leader some day. That being said, realistic RP is important - so the character jumping in to play hero and nothing else, as you said, wouldn't be great. This rule idea seems fine to me, basically!

➤ Characters
➥ I don't know about anyone else, but I think if we limit the number of queens, we may not be swarmed with them. On WCF, I outright banned them from joining because one member would always join with a queen, then have her or the kits die during kitting. We can also offer heterosexual toms as potential fathers to cut down on fatherless kits. We could also make it to where the two characters need to see if they are compatible before the she-cat announces her pregnancy. If they aren't and one isn't feeling it, then the she-cat needs to be a regular warrior for a bit.

Oh, I've never seen that queen problem before o.o I didn't realize that was a thing. How unfortunate :/ I kind of like the idea about the characters seeing if they're compatible - that's pretty realistic, no? Though if people want it to work out enough for it to be known they're considering being mates, they might kind of force their characters to like each other. Unless I'm completely misunderstanding here, whoopsies ^^;

➥ The idea of having random kits when there aren't any queens is weird, so I don't think we should allow them unless someone has a good reason to and we have a queen. One idea I like is having open family ties. People can plug in their cats to different families that allow it so it's not like everyone is alone. The only issue is cat incest.

Is adoption acceptable? Like Cloudtail was adopted? I've done that in RPs before. I don't know if I understand the open family ties part though. Do you mean like if someone joins with a kit, they can choose where the kit goes?

I also saw dark forest training mentioned, so I wanted to comment:

I think it'd be really cool to have Dark Forest training as part of it! ESPECIALLY with the main plot. Some misguided apprentices or whoever could think the best way to help their Clan is to train with Dark Forest members. It could really, really be cool to add that element!
