OOC: Sydney would pretend to hate her and only keep her around because of those sweet sweet decorated cakes but actually mildly enjoy her company.
Alright. I tried. c:
I'm sorta regretting having Rosie as my second character cause even though I love her, I don't have any muse for her in a school setting, since she's sort of an "Amelia Earhart" sort of character and not really meant to be tied to one place.
I'll probably scrap her and make/use another character.

Feeling her phone buzz made Aryn glance down. Normally the girl wasn't one to get on her phone during class, but then again, her phone never went off in class. She figured that it had to be important, so she slyly slid it it out of her pocket when the teacher wasn't looking. Seeing that it was Ophelia, she furrowed her brow and glanced toward the window. Aryn rolled her eyes and gave a small sigh before putting her phone away silently and raising her hand. "Mrs. Smith," she asked, keeping her voice steady and soft, "could you come take a look at my paper? I'm not exactly sure how to ask this question." She lifted her paper slightly. She silently hoped that the teacher would just listen and come over, that way, Ophelia wouldn't get in trouble and all would be well. When Mrs. Smith nodded and began walking over, Aryn found herself emitting a small sigh, before she glanced back over at the window. She watched Ophelia with a convincing gaze, hoping the girl would understand her cue that it was safe to come in.

hello! i didn't see anything about a minimum amount of characters, but please tell me if there is. i'm pretty busy with school so i don't want to create more characters than i can handle. Santos, Dante Lee - [ m ] ; ambitious, considerate, unassuming [sand dollar]
Dante Santos is a trooper, as his single mother likes to say. She worked two jobs while he was in elementary and middle school just to keep them alive. Despite her determination to give her son a better future, she wasn't perfect; she spent half her earnings in cigarettes and alcohol, and her boyfriends were a constant presence in the house. Dante learned music through his public schools' music programs and YouTube tutorials, and it helped to distract him from his home life. When he took on a job to help out and thought he would have to kiss his precious instruments goodbye, a music scholarship to Welton entered the picture. Music is his passion, what drives him to roll out of bed every morning. Dante is an introverted fellow who prefers quality to quantity when it comes to friends. He does like to meet new people, but can only tolerate human interaction in small doses. He has medium brown skin, dark brown hair that rests in curls atop his head, and deep, taupe-colored eyes. Hearing aids can be seen on both of his ears. He is often seen wearing makeup and likes to express himself with stereotypically "feminine" clothing. Dante is willowy, with no muscles to speak of, and has dimples that appear in his cheeks when he smiles. He has a random smattering of freckles on his shoulders and neck. He carries dice with him to help him make decisions. Clique: Sideshow (Formerly Blue Collar)Sports/Activities: Band (flutist), orchestra (cellist), cross country, French club, book club, volunteers at local animal shelter, writes occasionally but isn't confident enough to join writing club, composes musicRelationship Status: TBDOrientation: Panromantic DemisexualAge: 16Other: Demiboy, goes by he/him or they/them pronouns

... ↪ • Ophelia Ardat @ Sydney, Aryn -- When someone approached the door that she saw through its window, Ophelia quickly spun out of the way before they could hit her. She stood awkwardly to the side with her uniform skirt swaying from her sudden movement. Her shoulders immediately dropped their tensity when she realized who was exiting the room. The harsh gaze that Sydney gave her before he brushed past only fazed Ophelia enough to make her roll her eyes playfully and let out a small giggle. Now that he had moved out of the way she returned to stand in front of the door, but looked back at him heading down the hall for a moment.
"Hey! There's a new episode on tonight. Same time, same place?" she called out to him, and perhaps too loudly since it didn't occur to Ophelia that there were other classrooms full of students all around them. There was an innocent grin on her face, but without waiting for Sydney to answer she went back to peeking inside the window on the door. More than once when Ophelia had claimed one of the tv's in the Common's Room to watch shows on the cooking channel, Sydney had joined her on the couch.
Last week when she had tuned into the current season of Master Chef on a more popular channel, he had been there, so that had been her way of teasing him. It wasn't a planned event for the two of them by any means. However, something life-saving seemed to be happening inside the classroom now. The teacher was coming over to Aryn's desk and the bouncy teenager gave a sigh of relief that the girl she had texted for rescue was actually pulling through. Ophelia quietly turned the door handle and let it close behind her softly before tip-toeing past Mrs. Smith to her seat.
When the teacher had successfully went over Aryn's homework with her and moved back to the front of the room while announcing that she'd take roll before beginning class, Ophelia turned to give her new friend a thumbs up and a beaming face. She really owed the girl two years her senior a big favor now.

... ↪ • Thackery Bingham | Library, requesting Tori -- Today there were quite a few things lined up for Thackery to take care of. Even though he were already a part of the academy's newspaper himself, another journalist really wanted to interview him for the article at hand. In turn, he'd need to interview someone for that article as well unless the group came up with another idea by their next meeting. Once classes were out for the day, Thackery definitely wanted to drop by a cafe whether it be the one on campus or in town to study. Strange it were that he didn't just study now, here in the library, but technically he was working as an aid at the moment. This current responsibility was stunting him from doing the other things he needed to do. He had already finished up his starting chores though, so he was sitting back behind the main desk with a book stuck in his hands.
It must have been a miracle that Thackery tore his eyes from their plaster on the page of his book to look up and notice Tori. From what he saw, he couldn't tell if she were grabbing books or putting them away on the shelves. With a clack of his tongue against the roof of his mouth he straightened up, set his book down, adjusted his glasses on the bridge of his nose, and rose from his seat. He sauntered over to the girl with an acceptable sweater covering his uniform shirt and leaned against the bookshelf when he approached. "It's not your shift yet," he teased, knowing her only because she had recently applied to be a library aid just like him. His free arm pushed back his sandy brown hair from falling into his face. There was a hair-tie covering the tattoo on his wrist that he could use to pull back his locks.

Sydney frowned at her as he passed, but once his back was to her it dropped into his typical neutral expression, maybe with a small smile. It was nice having some semblance of a tradition here. He did his business and went back to the classroom, sitting through the class like normal and getting freed up for another roleplay. Please. Someone. Anyone.

Of course this is still open to joining, robin c: Anyone still on? I think I added most everyone's characters and then closed my computer because I was feeling the side effects of the oxy and then around nine I took another with my antibiotic to go to bed and passed out, but I'm sorta awake now c; I can start roleplaying now, or at least put up a starter before I pass out again

Pfft, so not doing well then? Or only relatively well, pfft.
Well, I got Sydney(wallflower/senior) and Rosie(new guy/sophmore). Currently have more of a muse for Sydney, though I have been considering making another character or two.
But I do have to go to slep relatively soon, so we might be able to start something with a couple posts, but then it's bedtime for me.

[ Yeah, I can start. Idk how good it'll be right now because I'm feeling sick again. I'll type it up and probably pass out again, lol. Or I'll suck it up and get working on those other few characters I wanna make and my computer is being annoying and weird in a way I can't explain and is stressing me out ]
Don't get Ethan wrong, he loved school. English, math, science, anything that he got to use his brain for, he loved. However, some days he just wasn't feeling it. Like today. He had awoken almost too late for breakfast because his alarm didn't go off and he barely made it to first period before the tardy bell, he of all people couldn't afford a tardy. First period - Calculus - went by slow and painful. He loved math, but today he could barely handle it. Maybe it was because he hadn't heard from his mother in a week and his dreams had been plagued with failed tests, but it was the beginning of the school year and these things were normal. He just needed to get over them. He was relieved when first period ended and he was able to head to English, his favorite and easiest class. He stepped through the door just on time, and gave his teacher a curt nod before finding a seat. Typically, they had arranged seats but today the desks were in pairs, which meant you got to chose your seat - and your partner. He chose a seat close to the window. Unlike other students, Ethan wasn't distracted by things going on outside. The light trickling in actually helped his focus and on a nice day like today, the teacher had the window's slightly ajar and the smallest of breezes drifted through the classroom, feeling wonderful. The seats in the room quickly filled up, friends finding friends, and kids who were in the same friend group, but weren't necessarily friends, were sitting together hesitantly. For a while, Ethan was alone. He didn't mind, if no one sat with him it wouldn't be the first time. Even though he was friendly, he was a blue collar and the wealthier students of Welton often stuck their noses up at working with his kind, even though he was just as smart - if not smarter - than he was. Still, it didn't bother him. He pulled out his English textboook, filled with many of Shakespears plays and after looking up at the board and reading what the teacher had written, he pulled out a pencil and a notebook and jot down his heading :
Ethan Maxwell Period 2 AP Lit/Comp 14 November 2016 Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet Guiding Questions 1.
