Toadkit flicked his tail enthusiastically, drinking in Skyvolt's every word. When it was his turn to speak, he nodded gravely and tipped his nose towards the sky—this was his moment to prove himself, and he wasn't about to waste it. After a while of aimless sniffing, the breeze finally brushed through the young tom's whiskers, and his eyes lit up. "That way!" He exclaimed, flicking his tail downwind. Littlekit let out a satisfied purr and glanced curiously at her friend as she trotted over to her. "What is it?" She asked cheerfully. Willowkit thought for a moment, a certain unconscious seriousness coming over her expression as she considered her choices. "For the season, I like leaf-fall best," She decided, then quickly shot off the next two answers. "Dawn and rainy!" She added with a purr. (Sorry if I interpreted this wrong—I was a little confused and am currently very tired x3) (It's alright! x3) Goldenlight smiled. "Perfect! Now, where should we search? I know it's not your favorite choices, apparently, but where should we look for kits?" she tilted her head curiously at Willowkit, awaiting her every word, subtly testing her while hoping not to push her to stress. She liked this little she-kit, whether it be her lanky frame or motherly personality, she looked like a true warrior. |

Skyvolt shook her head. "No you tested the wind yourself." Smiling she added, "Next you make sure there are no leaves or twigs that could give you away if you step on them See any?" She prompted.

Littlekit smiled, her lips tight as if she were trying to hide it. "I wanted to ask you if you'd adopt me," She purred—never the type for grand symbolism, she decided it was best to just go out and say it. "So what do you think?" Once Littlekit started to say it, Snowbreeze stopped washing and put her full attention to Littlekit. She was pretty surprised when she said what she wanted to, then smiled and licked the top of Littlekit's head. "Of course I will! I love hanging out with you and I hope you feel the same," she purred. |

The black she cat cocked her head at the small kit before she purred encouragingly and stood, padding over to the tom. "Hello, little one. What's your name?" She asked, her dark blue eyes focused on the kit with a gentle gleam. "Smudgekit," The young tom replied quietly, his expression still slightly perplexed, but quickly taking on a friendliness that lit up his eyes as he took a few cautious steps forward. "Who are you?" The she cat purred reassuringly, her tail curling around her paws as she sat down. "My name is Ravenstar. Nice to meet you, young one." She answered, dipping her head respectfully, as if addressing another clan leader. |

"Yes, absolutely!" Dewkit purred, ready to try anything Moonrose had to offer her. "How do I do it? Do I just grab the prey in my claws?" "Well, not quite..." Moonrise mewed, knowing honesty was what Dewkit would want. "You should be good at this, as hearing and smell are your strongest senses. First, take in your surroundings- always do that first so you don't have a disadvantage and don't feel fear. Then, sniff around for a prey scent, if you smell multiple, try for the closer one- the more food, the stronger the clan. Then, keeping your paw-steps as light as a butterfly, stalk the scent, and then... POUNCE!" Moonrose's voice suddenly rose, as she jumped onto a squirrel. She clawed it multiple times before throwing it on a log. Triumphant, she held the prey in her jaws. "That was a pretty messy kill, but it'll work. Now you try! There's plenty here!" Dewkit let out an amazed purr and nodded obediently, sitting down so she could focus on the task at hand. She breathed in deeply and twitched her ears, visualizing the forest around her. There were tree-scents, the sound of a river trickling somewhere far away, and somewhere closeby...a mouse! "I smell prey!" She purred, digging her claws into the ground with anticipation. "Sh- should I go for it?" She asked as she walked forward cautiously, her head swiveling in an attempt to locate her catch. |

It's just a little ways through the forest, and there are plenty of rocks and trees where a kit could hide," Willowkit suggested, her naturally-subdued personality still unable to control the excitement sparkling in her eyes. "I've never found a kit there, but then again, I've never known how to search." |

"There are some leaves there, but I think I can step around them," He noted, gesturing with his tail to a small, scattered pile of red and orange scraps littering the ground. |

She purred, wrapping her tail around the small brown kit and nuzzling her. "It took me about one full day to get back to my clan, but you won't mind, right? I'll tell you all about it along the way," she explained, beginning to start to groom Littlekit. ( I think I'll have my clan Potatoclan up soon and that's where you can bring and roleplay Littlekit. Give me until.... Wednesday ok? c: ) |

Skyvolt purred. "Excellent now comes the locating of actual prey. You look, listen, and smell. Look around to see if you can spot prey, if you can't listen for scurrying on the ground, if you can hear something, smell and pinpoint where it's coming from. Go ahead and try it." She meowed kindly.

"Lunarclan," Smudgekit purred, chewing on the word for a few seconds before smiling again. "What's it like there?" He asked. "And is it hard to lead a whole clan?" Littlekit let out a deep, rumbling purr and snuggled into Snowbreeze's fur. "No, I don't mind—I want to see the whole world between here and my new home!" She squeaked. "And don't leave out a single, tiny deteal; I want to hear everything about it!" ( Skittles--okay :3 But just so you know, she's yours, so if you'd rather rp her yourself, that's alright too. Your kit, your choice :3) Sunkit grinned and swiped out with his paw to dislodge the moss from his claws. It bounced in a messy arc towards Crystalfur. Toadkit nodded and raised his muzzle once again, letting the sights, sounds, and smells wash over him. "I think there's something towards the entrance," He mumbled half to himself as some sort of familiar rustling reached his ears. Flicking them towards the sound, he trudged off in tat direction, stopping mid-step and cocking his head to silently ask for confirmation of his guess. |

Crystalfur dropped low to try and grab it, but missed it by about a tail length. "Whoops! Let's try this again." Crystafur mewed. She quickly scooped up the ball and tossed it towards Sunkit.

"That sounds nice," Smudgekit purred. "I guess it's kind of like a clan here, in a way, with everyone taking care of each other," He mused. Catching on a part of Ravenstar's response, the tom-kit's ears perked up. "There are lots of kits there? That sounds fun! Are there warriors and apprentices too?"
Sunkit let out a mrrow of laughter as Crystalfur missed the toss and waited eagerly for her to collect it again. "So where do you live?" He chatted casually.
Toadkit nodded, nervous excitement buzzing in his belly as he did as Skyvolt instructed. "Alright," He purred as he took a few wobbly steps forward, struggling to hold his position as he made his way to the cave entrance, where his eyes finally fell on a small frog. Letting out a shrill battle cry, he suddenly leaped for the creature, grabbing for it as it promptly sprinted from his grasp, his claws just barely brushing his prey before it escaped. "Mousedung!"

"Of course! There are more warriors than apprentices though. But they're all very nice cats." Ravenstar purred, noticing how Smudgekit perked up. She could tell that he was enjoying the conversation more than playing a game, something that was surprising but a refreshing difference. Smudgekit smiled. "That sounds great! I'm glad they're all nice," He purred, flicking his short tail cheerily. "What's your deputy like? And do you have any family?" He stopped and flicked his ears sheepishly. "Sorry for all the questions." |

( emolga55--lol x3) Icekit's eyes lit up. "Really? Where?" He asked enthusiastically—'tough' as he was, he was never one to say no to a challenge. "I bet I can get to the top!" "Okay," Dewkit replied, forcing confidence into her voice as she steeled herself, honing in on the prey-scent as she crept after it. Though she couldn't tell exactly how far she was from it, she moved as close as she dared before dropping into a messy crouch—her tenseness made her wobbly—and springing for the mouse. It sprinted away into the bushes, eyes blazing with fear, but not before Dewkit's claws brushed its warm pelt. "I touched it—I was so close!" She gasped. "I never thought I'd get anywhere near prey!" She flicked her ears shyly, quieting a bit at the last comment, but her expression was still filled with pride. Willowkit nodded, racing off in the direction of the stream. Though the way through the forest was difficult for a kit as young as she, the she-kit had a sharp memory and a good sense of direction, and her paws brushed the pebbly bank in what felt like no time at all. "So do we just look around?" She asked. |

Toadkit nodded obediently, his usual cheer returning in the form of his flicking tail despite the lack of success. Catching sight of the frog in question, he stalked again, careful to keep quiet this time. He bunched his hindquarters and gave a massive leap, coming down—to his delight—directly on top of his prey. "I think I got it!" He purred, staring amazedly at the limp creature as if it he wasn't sure he had really caught it and half-expected it to get up and run away. |
