Ok so I was in the middle of typing my novel for NaNoWriMo and all of a sudden everything started freezing up. I tried to fix it and finally just force-turned off my computer. Right before I did, a popup appeared that said "Microsoft Windows is not responding". I restarted the computer and apparently Windows has crashed completely. Currently running diagnostics to see wth is happening. Luckily, I backed up my novel shortly before the crash, but I'm still pissed. It's not like I was doing anything to prompt this. I just want to write my novel, dangit.

Well, there are a few questions you should ask. How old is your machine, what OS are you using, what else were you running at the time, etc...

It's like a year old, I was using Windows 10 (sadly), and the only other thing I had open was the NaNoWriMo site in Firefox. Plus, I have a pretty great antivirus, so I doubt a virus could have done this. I just don't know what caused this.

On the bright side, nothing of value was lost!

Finished all the diagnostics. Everything's fine with the firmware and such, so I'm kind of stumped. I'm gonna guess that it's a problem with the OS. Idk I'll look into it and see how I can fix it
