So the blurb, lets talk about it:
ShadowClan has fallen. A group of rogues now rules the pine forest, and their cruel leader, Darktail, will not stop until he has conquered the rest of the Clans. Alderheart is more certain than ever that their only hope is to find the lost SkyClan and fulfill StarClan’s prophecy—before Darktail’s vicious reign puts an end to the warrior Clans forever.
I remember predicting that this would happen, Darktail using ShadowClan to take over the other clans, he'd probably lie to them in a sense of saying it's to make them stronger, but really he's only doing it for himself. I'm honestly sick of ShadowClan being the bad guys, I also guessed that in the end it will be SkyClan who saves the day somehow, like they're destined to face Darktail. However this is only book 3 of the series, and Darktail already took over one clan by book 2. I wonder how the rest will pan out? Will a new villain show up, similar to DoTC, half way through? Or maybe the plot is more complicating than it seems? I feel like Darktail will either be killed or chased off eventually but then the new threat would be how SkyClan will settle and how the other clans will accept them by the lake. |

Why couldn't he take over Riverclan? But imo I think the only reason why it was easier to take over Shadowclan was because of the apprentice acting differently then how apprentice are suppose to act. Plus *coughiblameNeedletailcough* for bringing in Darktail, but we all know Darktail will fall and the five clans will be back together.

Why couldn't he take over Riverclan? But imo I think the only reason why it was easier to take over Shadowclan was because of the apprentice acting differently then how apprentice are suppose to act. Plus *coughiblameNeedletailcough* for bringing in Darktail, but we all know Darktail will fall and the five clans will be back together. Honestly I wish RiverClan got more action like it used to back in the older series. |

It's also worth noting that there is a lot of instability in the clans at this point, so it's easy for Darktail to take over…
We haven't seen much of Riverclan, but we know they have a very old leader who Darktail could probably take out easily…
Skyclan goes without saying (read the spoiler topic for Hawkwing’s Journey to understand what I mean)
Windclan has a leader who's obviously gone insane, and a lot of his clan are against him. Some are even acting directly against him (such as Harespring and Ketrelflight). It wouldn't take much for them to rebel and join Darktail.
Shadowclan already has been taken over, with no signs of going back to normal.
And poor Thunderclan is caught in the middle of all this. Along with the problem of the prophecy, they have to shelter Shadowclan. Not to mention it was their medicine cat apprentice that unintentionally brought Darktail to the other clans in the first place…
So with so much turmoil in every clan, it sets the perfect stage for Darktail to take them all over. It's not Shadowclan being the bad guy, but Darktail having the very real power to manipulate everyone (kind of like Sol, but using force).

I bet Rowanstar and Onestar wont accept them but Thundetclan and Riverclan are very open minded. Bramblestar will say the secret of SkyC soon enough Im guessing and maybe the clans will send like 2 or 3 people from each clan to guide Skyclan

I wonder if the old leaders from ancient Skyclan’s time will make an appearance… They did say that guilt haunted them for the rest of their lives, and having them see and guide the Clans directly to bring Skyclan back to the lake would help them deal with their guilt, and be the perfect ending to what happened…
It was mentioned that cats from Dawn of the Clans would appear here, so I'm taking guesses on who will be. My guess would be Micah (since he is the one that originally did the "five petals of the blazing star" prophecy, and was the first medicine cat of Skyclan). Mothflight and Graywing are other guesses, but less likely.
And what I'm confused about is how Skyclan is the other Clans’ only hope… Sure, they've dealt with Darktail before and know what he is capable of, but there's severely weakened and can help fight him off in their current condition…
As for Sol, if he appears, he probably will fight alongside Darktail. I have a feeling he will, because he particularly has a grudge against Skyclan (they drove him out and towards the lake).
