Disallow fleeing.
Turning off the Exp. Share

I don't like randomizer... It's just a chaotic mess, and even though it's more interesting, it's also a lot easier if you get even one really hard-hitter. |

Ok, so! Here are the first events of the Nuzlocke non-randomizer that I tried doing.
Trainer Name: DAWNFRO (♂)
Trainer ID: 59918 (Mudkip)
Events:
Started the game! Woo!
Chose Mudkip (Level 5)! Defeated Zigzagoon and saved the Professor! Namaste (♂) joined the party!
Skipped boring intro stuff, got to where we had Pokèballs after rival fight. Now the adventure and catching rules start applying! Let’s get some good catches…
Route 101: Encountered and caught a Wurmple (Level 2). Kugino (♂) joined the party!
Route 103: Encountered and OHKO’d a Wingull! Critical Hits are only just beginning…
Route 102: Encountered and caught a Poochyena (Level 4). Mordete (♂) joined the party!
… Are you joking what n-
Namaste (Level 10) died in battle against Lass Tiana’s Shroomish (Level 4)! Pathetic, I know. Off to a great start. The battle started with full HP, and the trio of Tackle missing, Absorb hitting, and Poison Point poisoning Namaste was too much for him to bear. Mordete (Level 3) avenged his teammate, leading us to a very early death and a tearful victory. No more Swampert.
… *sigh*
Onward to Petalburg City!
EDIT: I'll just leave this here... Nothing but trouble...
After watching Wally catch a Ralts miraculously, we head off to the west, are stopped by Scott, and then continue…
Jk aaaactually we need to train up Kugino and Mordete…
Training Results:
Kugino - Level 2 —> Level 7! Evolved into a Cascoon!
Mordete - Level 4 —> Level 7!
And off we go!
Route 104: Encountered and caught a Wurmple (Level 4). Ascela (♀) joined the party!
Petalburg Woods: Encountered and caught a… Wurmple (Level 5). Possnr (♂) joined the party! Possnr’s name was due to the poison he gave Kugino.
Both Mordete and Kugino got poisoned on the first two encounters, both with Wurmples! And we can’t really do much about it besides book it for the PokéCenter and hope for the best…
Mordete (Level 8) died to due to poison right outside the Petalburg PokéCenter…
Kugino (Level 8) died to due to poison right INSIDE the Petalburg PokéCenter…
This is going to be either a very short challenge or a very long challenge…
NOW we need to train up Ascela and Possnr… This isn’t the best run so far, and no healing/restore items is making this a real trial…

Training Results V2.0:
Ascela - Level 4 —> Level 8! Evolved into a Cascoon!
Possnr - Level 5 —> Level 8! Evolved into a Silcoon!
And back to the old grindstone once again. Luckily, we were able to defeat the Team Aqua grunt by poisoning him to death and escaped the forest! Onwards and upwards.
Obtained the Wailmer Pail! Score!
… Better safe than sorry. Retreat to Petalburg PokéCenter to heal and push for that next evolution!
Training Results V2.1:
Ascela - Level 9 —> Level 10! Evolved into a Dustox!
Possnr (Level 9) died in battle against a wild Taillow (Level 5). Though he fought valiantly, He ultimately could not fend off the combination of Peck and Focus Energy. You will be dearly missed, Possnr.
1 down, 1 to go… Ascela is our last chance to get to Rustboro city… You can do it!
BUT HOLD ON: As we attempted to release Possnr, he came back to us, apparently worried for our well-being!! We have no choice but to BOX Possnr for now… He’s a tenacious little fellow.
Incredibly, with her new move, Confusion, Ascela completely DOMINATED everything in her path, making it to Rustboro without a scratch on her!
Rustboro City: Got a Quick Claw! … That we can’t use…
Got HM01, Cut!!! Ascela can’t learn it, though…
Route 116: Encountered and caught a Whismur (Level 6). Falalalala (♂) joined the party!
Rusturf Tunnel: Encountered and caught a Whismur (Level 5). Carol (♀) joined the party!
Off to challenge the Rustboro Gym! With two Whismurs, Ascela’s our only hope to push all the way through… Let’s hope she pulls through once again!
After all three gym trainers fall before us, Roxanne looms on her podium, just a wall over… Maybe it would be in our best interest to train further?
Training Results V3:
Ascela - Level 15 —> Level 17!
Falalalala - Level 13 —> Level 15!
Carol - Level 5 —> Level 15!
Before we attempted Roxanne, however, we went back to PC BOX1 and reassured our valiant Possnr that we would be alright, since we had three Pokémon now. He nodded his head, told us that he believed in us, and went up to the sparkly bug heaven in the sky… We’ve gotta beat Roxanne!
…
Well, actually, that didn’t go so well.
Ascela started, our only real option, and defeated the first Geodude with flying colors. Then came Nosepass. Nosepass used Rock Tomb on Ascela, unfortunately to great success. Ascela (Level 17), Falalalala (Level 15), and Carol (Level 15) all died in battle against Gym Leader Roxanne’s Nosepass (Level 15). Unfortunately, our heroes were simply no match for the brute strength of rock that Nosepass provides…
“DAWNFRO whited out!”
And so ends our first Nuzlocke journey… Full of trials and tribulations, but a good learning experience, nonetheless. Time to start once again from the beginning…
