weird that they gave applin and duraludon evolutions since they just came out last gen, and applin already had 2 evolutions. not to mention duraludon was already on par stat wise with evolved starters so an evolution is just gonna make him extra busted.
i wonder if they might have misspoke, and they meant to say that they're like a convergent evolution instead of that one evolves into the other.

The extra evolutions don’t surprise me too much because we’ve seen similar stuff in the past (example: Ralts line getting another evo in gen 4 after its debut). But applin specifically getting that extra evo raises eyebrows for me. That means Applin has the second most evolution branches in all the pokedex

We got until the 17th so we have a bit of time (I’ve gotta level up and EV train my mew too lol). We don’t have a date planned for an attempt yet. What we’d probably need to do is figure out who runs support and who’s attacking.

Hello, hope it’s okay for this long-time lurker to post here for the first time! This is probably a strange post, but I’ve been playing through Scarlet for the first time and I noticed what I thought might be a really cool real-world detail! (Spoilers for mid-game, and slight cw for medical information on neuropathy.) The third Herba Mystica is called the Salty Herba Mystica, and Arven mentions that it’s good for neuropathy in the hands and feet, as well as numbness and muscle weakness. As someone with POTS and neuropathy in my arms and feet, I have to eat a very high-sodium diet to help maintain proper blood volume levels and prevent issues like numbness and muscle weakness.
At the same time, many neuropathy disorders require low-sodium diets. So it’s possible this may have more to do with salt baths, which have been reported in helping with neuropathy in the extremities. Or the general role sodium plays in the nervous system and blood flow. Please feel free to correct me if you have more insight or thoughts on the potential inspiration!
Either way, this small yet thoughtful game detail really made my day! I’ve really been enjoying the game so far! I also hilariously appreciate that it starts to lag if my play session goes long. It tells me when to finish up and keeps me from overdoing it with, aptly, my neuropathy. Hoping I can finish in time to play the DLC closer to its release! |

You know, I would have thought that after almost 20 years they'd have finally made a halfway decent DS emulator that would actually freaking WORK and not have constant crashes and glitches but I guess that's too much to ask :V
I just wanna play explorers of sky without spending $100 or more on a new copy after mine got soy sauce spilled all over it goddamnit.

Teal mask spoilers I hate that we are forced to treat Kieran like that and team up with Carmine? She's literally such a bitch and I want to punch her in the face. I feel like they thought they were like redeeming her character or something- but they weren't like at all. Shes literally abusive to both him and her grandpa and makes them both cower with her anger to where you can see it in their body language even if "she has good intentions." just to make him mad and feel like we betrayed him right after calling him our friend and probably the first friend he has ever had? That's literally the worst plot ever, I felt like shit the entire time afterwards for being made to lie to him. I wish there was some alternate way to do things to just tell him the truth. Lying was pointless anyway since he was literally going to find out later either way. Catching the legendary didn't even feel good after all of that, because he deserves it. |

Yeahhhh I really didn't like how they made us treat him... It was my biggest complaint with the main story. I don't dislike Carmine tho. I haven't quite hit the end of the story line yet, I still have to fight her with Ogrepon :0 But I hope we make up with Kieran.
Speaking of Ogrepon, she's super cute! I like that she's a legendary with a personality. Her rock type form is my favorite form of hers and the battle to catch her was pretty fun. I was just messing around with a couple lower level shinies as my team the entire story so it was a little harder then expected. |

Ok can someone please explain sandwich making to me please and what I could possibly be doing wrong? I literally ALWAYS ALWAYS get the "gross" reaction to sandwiches no matter how fast, slow, or in what order I put the ingredients on in. I have even made a sandwich that has been almost identical to the example sandwich on the bottom and STILL get the reaction as if its bad. I've tried every pick in game at least once seeing if that affected anything and it doesn't.

Oh yeah just as a heads up internet/online play for the 3DS will be shutting down April of 2024.
The Pokémon company has confirmed that Pokémon Bank will eventually go offline, but will remain online for an undisclosed period of time after everything else shuts down.
If there are any Pokémon from past games on the 3DS, DS, and Gameboy Advance that you wish to bring forward it’s highly recommended you do so sooner rather than later.
(Also a pro tip for those with Pokémon Emerald there is a cloning glitch involving the Battle Tower so if you want multiple copies of Pokémon do so there)
And tbh I don’t normally condone homebrewing, but because of the state of Nintendo I say go for it. Homebrew your 3DS since Nintendo is abandoning it lol
