I've gotten to the point where I don't want Gen 4 remakes now. I'd rather things get a bit better and then the remake gets the time and attention it deserves lol

i wish they'd stuck with ds games cause i dont like the switch or switch controls at all and plenty of people ibknow still prefer ds handhelds bc theyre just easier than the switch in general. even the switch lite is pretty huge and clunky and the lack of foldability/portability really makes me not want to use it. like at all. i barely touch my switch but i still have alpha sapphire with me like every time i go out.

I don’t mind the switch so much. I do like the idea of hooking it up to my Tv to play. It reminds me of the add-on to the GameCube that would allow you to play gameboy games. But I do agree it’s a little bit big for portability and I really only take it to like the doctors office to pass the time if it’s not at home.
That reminds me I need to check on all my ds consoles to make sure they stay functional

So starting Feb 19 there’s going to be a distribution of a shiny amped toxitricity to commemorate a TCG thing. So what you gotta do is go to GameStop, open Pokémon Pass, and scan something and it’ll give you a code to get the toxitricity

Hello all! I figure this will be a great community to be a part of when the Sinnoh Remakes get announced later this month or I will be here to be sad about it so that we can all play together and stuff! I don't have sword or shield because to be honest... I didn't think they would be very good, and I was disappointed with Sun/Moon.
I've been replaying my copy of Black 2 the past week or so though, even though internet connectivity isn't supported on that platform anymore. I agree with the sentiment above- I don't dislike the switch, but nothing will ever replace the DS in my opinion.

I agree! Pearl was my first pokemon game and Platinum is still my all time favorite (that scene when Giratina materializes out of the shadows and drags Cyrus to pokemon hell? *chefs kiss*) but I remember really disliking B/W when they first came out. Probably because they were so different. Now that I look back... Gen 5 arguably had one of the most innovative storylines of any pokemon game, definitely the best up until that point. N's progression as an antagonist, and the scene at the end where you two face off with your two legendary dragons?? Amazing.

I'm more hoping that they dont make the d&p remakes lets go style games cause if they do i'm literally quitting. words cannot describe that kind of disappointment.
I don't get why you say "so soon" cause it's been 15 years and it should have happened 7 years ago.

'So soon' as in so soon after SWSH. I truly think they need to have more time between games. SWSH felt really slapstick and rushed, so I'm hoping they'll give the gen 4 remakes the time and care the games deserve.
