Does Graystripe appreciate anything?

Does Graystripe appreciate anything, besides Firestar? I mean, it seems like he's still clinging onto his previous family since it was hinted in TLH that he was excited when he saw Silverstream. It's okay to grieve, but Graystripe really should have moved on at this point. He boasted about Feathertail and Stormfur so much, and yet I don't see him boasting about the 3 Bs. And when Millie was dying from greencough, Graystripe thought of Silverstream, not Millie. Now I can understand that part since he's probably afraid of losing her, but.. still.
I feel like Graystripe doesn't care or appreciate Millie as much as he cared about Silverstream's family. Really, Millie deserves better. Graystripe barely even supported her when she was freaking out about Briarlight. And speaking of Briarlight, he was shown maybe.. once with her?
And it was even stated that Graystripe was tougher on the 3 Bs than anyone else in the Clan:
So does anyone remember Graystripe being tougher on Stormfur and Feathertail? No! He was shown being gentle around them and playing with them, also boasting about them to Fireheart all the time whenever he saw him.
I really don't like how the Erins developed Graystripe. He was fine after Silverstream died, I understand his grieving, but after he returned from the journey with Millie he was just ruined. Now I'm not going to blame Millie, that's a pathetic excuse to hate her because it's not her fault Graystripe chose to be lazy. She didn't force him to do that. Might I remind you that Graystripe was a kittypet for a while? While he kinda hated it, he liked some moments, like being cuddled with the Twolegs. So don't blame Millie for him being lazy - that was Graystripe's own fault for choosing that.
Let's not also forget how Graystripe wasn't there for Blossomfall when Millie yelled at her. And he was watching.
I just don't understand why people worship Graystripe being this amazing dad when he's really not all that great. He isn't there for his children, the 3 Bs anyways, and it seems like he's still in love with Silver even though Millie sacrificed everything for him. It's messed up tbh. Millie and Gray really should have stayed as friends.
