Why the hell

It's mostly because people want someone new to be with Dovewing, a fresh start. The Erins have said she might be getting a mate, along with Ivy, a long time back. And IvyFern is pretty much implied, so people are saying DoveHawk might be a thing too.

Could mean she might move to SkC to help with their numbers

As far as things are going with Dove and Tiger, I don't think it'll work out, especially now that Tiger is the new deputy of SC. She'll either have to move to SC, or he comes and stays in TC, but I doubt he'd give up his position for her, since he wasn't able to put her above his clan before. Also he's been down right antagonistic toward her the entire TAS, just ugh. Meanwhile her and Bumble get along fine, they're just friends though, and Cherry/Rose seem more likely to be with him instead.

Dovewing will never leave Ivypool or her parents for some complete stranger. She didn't even want to leave them for Tigerheart.

I don't ship it, and I don't like it. DoveXHawk makes no sense whatsoever. Dovewing needs to be single.

I share the same opinion lol. I think the pairing is very far-fetched to me as well. I really don't think it's going to happen for many reasons tbh.

I prefer Dovewing single, but I don't mind her being with Hawkwing either, as long as it's not Bumble or Tiger. Also I think Dovewing is a "big girl" she doesn't need to be stuck at the hip with Ivypool 24/7, she wasn't growing up, so why start again now?
