I don't mind my name. However, it's my last name I have a problem with. People always pronounce it wrong, or they don't know how to spell it. Like, seriously.. is Fulp really that hard to pronounce? It's four letters. People said Philip once...or Flip.. I'm just like.. really..

My name is Katie, so it's common, but not annoyingly so (I still find my name on key chains :3)
I was told a story from my coworker at a haunted house about his mother was at starbucks. This worker kept trying to pronounce a name on a cup. It was spelled La-ah so of course they were trying to say lah ah? Lah aye? And this big African American lady get all snippy saying "it's pronounced Lah DASH Ah", took her coffee, and walked out.
I honestly never laughed so hard in my life. This guy is really in touch with his feminine side, and the way he imitated this lady was so funny it hurt my sides. But I wouldn't have been able to guess it was Ladashah either. That poor Starbucks worker though lol

I don't mind having a less common name but I'd prefer one that's easier to say because apparently 'Kachina' is impossible to pronounce and I'm always called 'Katrina' and once, a German supply teacher read my name out as 'Cappuccino.' I didn't live that nickname down for a very long time.
Also, somebody on Tumblr once told me that my name is offensive because I'm a white girl. Like, sorry, I'm definitely the only person in the world with a name from another culture, haha.
