Whoa - this is a beautiful graphic novel, Dingo! I'm so sorry that I didn't find it sooner after the move. The art is stunning, and the storyline is very intriguing. I remember you telling me a bit about this a while ago, long before the great forum migration.

You're welcome c: and what I was thinking is that the bold black border around each panel is nice, but it's a little too thick in my opinion, and it distracts from the art within. Maybe you should experiment with making it just a hair thinner?

Page 12 is up! I love about 75% of this - especially Nef in the second panel - but the last panel sucks. I got so fed up with it and just wanted to get it up. I'll fix it tomorrow. Either way, I finally got the panel borders the way I wanted them. Do t they look great? |

Hahaha, she's awesome. Her name is Mali, and her official title is the palace Swordmaster. She trains the children of high ranking officials, and is also a general of sorts. She does a lot of the strategy stuff. She's an advisor of sorts. We'll see a lot nor did her in the incoming pages  She is also based off a cat I know in real life, who is every bit as sassy as her comic book counterpart. |

I found out basically the same thing in my comic! XD How do you draw a good building again?
I should show you what my building look like. It's supposed to be a small town but the houses look more like boxes.

Don't worry - lots of box houses here. I do all right traditionally, where I can turn the paper at will and have a ruler and such. It takes forever, but I can draw mediocre buildings that way. Photoshop proved much more difficult.

Agreed. I used to do a pretty good traditional Chinese building. But that was years ago and I've lost the ability. Give me a tree, rock, or cave any day.

I do like drawing mountains, but unfortunately mountains means buildings, in the context of the story. It's just for half of this chapter, though, and then desert! And I know the next page is super late, but I've been a lot busier than I thought I would be the past two weeks. Hopefully I'll have it finished by Wednesday. |
